At this point if Gabe shows up on stream and simply announces that he has evidence that Nick owns a balldo, and it's just a picture of Nick holding Drexel's balldo from that video than it'll be one of the finest instances of trolling I will have ever seen. Nick admitting to the accusation of a fucking child chokeslam is batshit insane and will now be included to the alog arsenal. There's still 6 hours left in the day, who knows what could happen?

Also God damn why does it always come back to pro wrestling?

Honestly...

If Gabe went on stream tonight and said "Hey guys, I don't really have anything, but cheers to Nick for admitting that there was another CPS investigation into him abusing his kids. I didn't know about that."

...that would be really fucking funny.

EDIT: Simultaneous thought and post with @Mr. Manchester above.

Karen Read Stream Day 32 - Rekieta Notables (no thumbnail at time of posting so here's this, again)
1749751505930.webp
God Bless America.

Also, I always forget he can do the one-eyebrow thing. He looked like a madman:
1749753162880.webp

TL;DR: Best of his Read coverage - gotta be honest. Nick should wear a suit, be threatened with Gabe Hoffman, watch court on replay, and get fired up more often. It was passionate entertainment and (fairly) good legal commentary. Three good red-meat rants about the evil of the State.

Personal: Kayla appeared off-screen twice. On his OWN CASE - he said that the witnesses retracted that the kids were wearing dirty clothes. SO much coughing, particularly at the end. He was at the doctor yesterday too. He's going in today for test results and for a couple of prescriptions. (Ahem.)
  • Top YT Live Viewership (approx): 1000
  • Tweets During Stream (approx): 6 (oh, hey, he was paying attention)
  • Breaks: None, though Kayla was around off-screen
Note: To be clear, the suit has nothing to due with a funeral. He said he was just angry for Karen Read and wore an "angry tie" and a jacket with a subtle camo print to express his rage.

- Admin: around 50 min. late, started court video from start on replay (rare), set up everything in real time. Plugged in his unconnected lighting at 53 min. (it made an interesting difference), audio issues in the back half.

Morning

- Doesn't feel great. "Trying to resolve a lingering issue." Denied AIDS or Cancer. Coughing persisted throughout the stream.

- Apologized for missing yesterday.

- Poured sweet tea from a jug into his 'best dad' tumbler.

- Joked that can't have a mixed drink. "I'm dainty. I don't wanna go to prison."

- Checks his phone. No drug test today. Says he's only been randomly drug tested 2x in 60 days. Again bemoaned only having to meet with his PO 4x/year.

- RANT about how defendants don't have "justice in real time... it's gone... guaranteed in the goddamn Constitution. YOU. DON'T. GET. JUSTICE. IN. THIS. SYSTEM." Rant was energetic and good. Red meat. Rather old Nick.

- He said that he's comfortable letting "guilty people" go. Later says that his mistakes are his own.

- He gave a toast to a pit bull facing surgery. He almost cracked up - unable to fake caring about dogs.

- He's gonna release MP3s of all the Read AI songs that he's played on his streams.

- Kayla delivered grilled cheese. (She's done this before during Read streams.) This time, he made a point of it. He asked for Havarti on it.
1749744847930.webp1749745564544.webp

- Says his jacket has a subtle camo pattern to match his angry tie. Clarifies that it's not a suit jacket.

- Kayla then delivers fried eggs. We can hear her off screen saying "oh my God" (I think). Paper plate alert.
1749746008336.webp

- RANT about Karen Read's rights, health, and the State trampling on them.

- Actually looked up the MA 'Bowden Instruction' to understand the jury instruction about bad police investigations. (Congrats, Nick. You figured out the defense argument by doing some work.)

- SCREAMS about how angry he is (around 43 min into the stream). (Reminded me of him yelling at Keanu.)

- Descent job discussing the "third party culprit" issue with instructions and "reasonable person standard" for interrogations.

- He won't be covering closing arguments tomorrow due to picking up his kids at camp. He may restream it when he gets back at 2-3:00 PM CT.

- SERIOUS audio issues. Asks Kayla to get him a better mic.

- Lesco Brandon, or an impersonator, seems to have returned (in chat). Nick payed attention. He also sent in a modest Supertip.
1749754413121.webp

- Offscreen, Kayla delivers a new mic. He compliments her outfit. Later says something about their dog knocking the mic off the stand for karaoke??? I have no idea what he's talking about.
1749748970412.webp

- He totally missed the "consciousness of guilt" issues (HUGE) bc he was busy discussing Bev's canolli. Had to rewind. He apologized.

- Tie is from Goodwill

- RANT about debenching Judge Bev and other issues of the State.

- RANT about curative instructions.

- He's not going to wear the suit to the doctor; looked up the weather; it's 68 degrees in Spicer.

Court Over / Back to 'Cooking with Kurt' (Why???)

- I mean, he's not wrong. I was horrified too:
1749752430132.webp

- He laughed and asked his chat about who would eat this.

- He may stream later today. He went to the doctor YESTERDAY and today is for test results and for a couple prescriptions.

- He couldn't figure out how to play the Drunk Lawyer outro. He argued with tech (it was funny) and we were left with this:

Appropriate for this time and place.

I am not sure how you distill that from those tweets. She very well might have been his first choice.

To wit, he asked LM to check his DMs on the 10th, and this show with Keanu was scheduled way before then.
I should have been more clear, but I didn't realize the initial tweet was archived. Gabe asked to get in contact with Legal Mindset at the same time he was saying he needed to go on a stream to explain these new allegations about Rekieta. It was only recently that Legal Mindset clarified publicly that he wasn't interested.

The original tweet still exists (https://x.com/GabeHoff/status/1928259296011141524), but the reply from about 30 minutes later asking to get in contact with Legal Mindset has since been deleted (https://x.com/GabeHoff/status/1928266340378231237).

Fortunately, the original Tweet was archived:

(Archive)

There's also this which I believe was from the same day:
He was looking for the best platform to do it. But I think he got privately turned down by Sean as well. B/c I know he e-mailed him. I was watching the live stream where he popped into let him know or whatever.

Again, the stream on Keanu's show will either consist of evidence or unverified rumors. Keanu ultimately won't matter.

Maybe I missed something, but why would Nick, in Spicer, Minnesota, be dressed in a suit for the funeral of an uncle from Tyler, Texas?
I don't believe it was ever posted that he was dressed up for a funeral, he was just dressed up as a combination of Sargon and Billy Mitchell except more cringe as a "bit".

I was confused too. I've actually "attended" a couple memorials via Zoom (particularly during Covid). I wondered if it was about that. It wasn't.

AS FOR MEMORIALS - John Owen's , Nick's uncle, seems to be out but I cannot find any long form obits and I haven't looked very hard.

Okay. So that's what Keanu has to beat. That's totally doable.

If she does it, we all need to point at Nick and laugh.

Okay. That makes MUCH more sense. I couldn't figure out why you were using a tweet from June 10th as proof. If he tried to get in touch with LM on May 29th, fair enough. It's possible he did initially want LM to be his conduit then.

I have to say though, I ultimately support him using Keanu over LM. I am not a particularly big fan of LM, and I feel like he's had to endure less shit from Nick than other streamers like Keanu, Kurt, and Sean.

Again, the stream on Keanu's show will either consist of evidence or unverified rumors. Keanu ultimately won't matter.
Agreed. It doesn't matter which channel he goes on. I just think it's nice she'll have a chance to pull some good numbers after Nick's cruelty. She's earned that much, I think.

It's going to be CPS stuff that they investigated. That will be it.

My thought as well. We already know Nick got investigated and that CPS didnt press charges. It wont do anything to convince his diehards that he has ever done something wrong.

But more explicit information on what/how Nick abused his kids would be worth airing and certainly makes him look worse to anyone sane.

Like you said, just because CPS didnt take the kids doesnt mean Nick doesnt hit his kids. CPS isnt gonna take the kids away from anything but the most unfit parents, because its a pain in the ass paperwork wise and your drunk dad slapping you sometimes is better than whatever hellhole CPS puts you in.

Everyone is pissed off at Nick during the service as he is cracking inappropriate jokes, arrives late for the burial, interrupting the blessing ceremony, when people gather to place a final flower on the coffin, nick leans in too far and a tiny ziplocked baggie of white powder drops out of his breast-pocket and lands on the coffin lid, everyone stares at Nicolas Robert Rekieta.

:really:Challenge: What does Nick say next? :really:
"Ethan Ralph said I could!"

Nick's YouTube subs are over 10x Kino Casino's on Kick but he can't even pull off even a third the viewership, that must be killing him inside.

He is so desperate to magically regain the YouTube algorithm yet he has to keep the content PO-friendly. He's going to Catch-22 himself into a mental breakdown.
Heh, loser, don't you know you just turn on the camera and start talking? It's the easiest job in the world? I could even charge for a course on it!

I think people really underestimate how extreme things have to get before CPS will permanently take away kids and, in light of that, how severe the steps they took in the Rekietas' case were. The vast majority of CPS involvement (and it takes quite a bit to get them involved in the first place) is very "hands-off" monitoring and check-ins essentially letting the parents know that someone is looking over their shoulder. The fact that they took the kids out of the home and away from both parents for six months is an intervention that is very much on the more extreme end of how they approach troubled homes.

The one thing about CPS is that once they're involved, they often stay involved going forward so I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't still monitoring the Rekietas' and these other abuse charges weren't dismissed as Nick claims but rather they're part of an ongoing open CPS case that hasn't reached a conclusion yet.
