I mean its ridiculously unreasonable for anyone to assume that nuclear isn't the future of energy, so the idea that countries can't have nuclear reactors is sort of silly. Then, the idea of having a nuclear bomb is the best deterrent ever.

Not much, their offensive capabilities are mostly limited to missiles and they've poured significant resources into proxies which Israel and the US have degraded a lot over the years. There's enough to keep Israeli forces busy dealing with groups in Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen for a bit, but nothing that seriously threatens Israel itself.

They don't have a land border so any conflict is kind of stuck to being by proxies or long-range bombings. If this is a full on war it'll be an interesting one.
