Nuclear bombs require bringing enough nuclear material into a small enough space, fast enough, to kick off and sustain the nuclear chain reaction. Some fairly precision manufacturing is required to build the mechanisms that do that. Yes, nuclear detonators use conventional explosives to get the fast, intense force needed to do that, but those conventional explosives must be aligned and timed
just right in order to get a nuclear reaction that gets big enough, fast enough to get a nuclear explosion. Yes, conventional explosives can be triggered by the heat or pressure from another explosive, but timing and alignment requirements for a nuclear detonator are so fiddly that the blast from Isreal's bombs is more likely to send the individual charges out of alignment, or cause them to go off with the wrong timing.
The bigger danger would be Israel's bombs spreading the radioactive material all around the environment, like a sort of dirty bomb.
