The NATO allied member states are already wary of getting involved with Ukraine.

The US armed forces going on a voluntary excursion to Israel is going to make the NATO allied members look dumb when their troops are just sitting like ducks in Eastern Europe.

It's very obvious to the US allies that Israel gets very, very, special treatment, just how far the US will go is the question, and their priorities will be put into question.
