2025 Israel vs Iran War

Yeah. I'm a skeptic of strategic bombing's effect on morale. IMO it's more likely to cause a "rally around the flag" effect and drive further anti-Israeli sentiment among Iranians.
I want to hear more about the military leadership being decapitated. That could create a power vacuum that could lead to a regime change, even if the new boss is about as Islamic as the old boss.

Maybe Nothing Will Ever Happen, but these attacks might work where economic sanctions didn't.

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir: “We launched the strike because the time had come, we reached the point of no return.""

We cannot wait for another time to act, we have no choice. History, both distant and recent, has taught us that in the face of ambitions to destroy us, we must not bow our heads, and so we fight to preserve our existence. Freedom is granted to those who are willing to fight for it.” Source

I really agree with Israel here. Iran straight up said a billion times “once we get nukes, we are nuking Israel” and then said “we pretty much have nukes now!”

Like… what else do you do?

RAF RC-135 just took off and looks like it's heading towards Iraq/Persian Gulf.

I would also point out that Iranians have something of a first-hand experience in learning how in any revolution the only people who have both the vision and the will to carry out a continuation plan beyond what I like to call the "Get Rid of the Guy" stage are violent extremists who do not share their interests, so I wouldn't be surprised that, no matter how much they may dislike the current regime, they'd be hesitant to support any project to overthrow it, especially an external one.
This is also true, there are plenty of Iranians who are more secular, protest the excesses of the Iranian regime and would probably not mind a normal republic, but why the fuck would they risk trying to implement any of that when they're isolated among Islamic states and Israel/America have made it clear they want another puppet state in the Middle East? They probably all supported the peace talks coming to a reasonable compromise but Israel just proved that they will go apeshit at absolutely nothing.

Yep. The IRGC only has the loyalty of ~40% of Iran at BEST.

Some say it's more like 20-25% and almost ZERO support in the three biggest cities.

Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not know you, and on the kingdoms that do not call on your name. For I have devoured Jacob and called Noah. Pour out your wrath on them, and the fierceness of your anger will overtake them. Pursue them in anger and destroy them from under my heavens.

Is the F-35 really this good?
There is a sliding scale of how much the US likes a country (as a friend/ally) based on how high-tech the F35s they sell them are, or if they get F35s at all.
US keeps the ones with the hivemind brainlink, but I think I think Israel gets the 2nd best one. Singapore gets good ones too.
People severely underestimate how powerful the result of the most advanced military on the planet pumping trillions of dollars into a machine.
