idk why he still thinks its effective to try to appeal to this idea that hes a normal lawyer dad and saying he did something really bad is some far out there thing like if i just randomly said metokur fucked a horse in front of his gf's family, you admitted to a ton of crazy shit nick. like ket and cocaine. yeah itd seem crazy to say that about you years ago, now not so much. youll have to expand your gaslighting there. the tricks you used before no longer work. maybe try "where is the proof" or idk something else

This has been the biggest 4 hour nothingburger in the history of nothingburgers. Ok, after a winding leadup, now we have specific claims of physical violence. Now what? This is just another entry in the long long list of Bad Things Nick Has Done.
At least it got Nick to self-report something nobody knew about. That's probably the best thing to come out of this spiral.

This stream sucked, but it did stimulate some thought.

My theory with the chokeslam incident is that it probably happened, it was without witnesses, the son told the nanny about it to try to escape the abuse, the nanny reported it in good faith, and then Nick finds out about the allegation and has another bad day.

When he ultimately doesn't get in trouble because there's technically no proof, he tries to get the nanny in trouble for "false reporting." He finds out that she can't get in trouble because she's reporting in good faith an allegation a child told her, even if they couldn't prove it and press charges.

Suddenly, Nick gets the idea that this is all fair play. He starts saying that the nanny abused his kids! Better yet, he was told this by his own children too! It's perfect. It'll damage her reputation and it couldn't possibly bite him in the ass since he's also "reporting in good faith" (the hypothetical truth being that either he put the kid up to it or he fabricated it).

The sister-in-law "clearing him" was just her stating that she didn't witness it, which is different from witnessing that it absolutely didn't happen.

The fact Nick is comfortable with fear-based discipline in front of witnesses is really disturbing. This friend saw it multiple times and was deeply uncomfortable/disturbed.
It's not so much the discipline per se as the doing it in front of company. If he's doing that with company what the heck is going on behind closed doors. If it's yelling at kids with company I'd guess it's bare minimum excessive spanking behind closed doors. Also with the homeschooling co-op. I grew up with one of those and you have wonderful people and really odd slightly creepy people. Some of the creepy ones are doing drugs or horrible things to their kids. That story sounds familiar enough to get me all out of sorts.

Why does he keep talking about an iceberg?

Gabe dropped his "credible" stories, that is,

Kayla had a mental breakdown, she smashed her head against the wall/glass/bricks and got an injury.
Yeah, I've witnessed this happen with relatives having a major domestic. It's nasty.
But I'm not surprised.

Family friend story relay #2:
Witnessed skelly getting physical with his children in an impulsive and disciplinary manner.

and is leaving the viewer with the vague idea being, "if this is what he shows to the public you can only imagine how he is in private"

In order words, this is the extent of what Gabe finds credible but is using this and I guess Redo of the Healer and skunks to imply that Nick has been a really bad person and father.

In short, Keanu and Gabe blew their load over nothing and 4 hours of people's time was wasted.
