So thanks again to Claudio’s powerleveling by sperging out in Sperg Spectacting’s profile, and literally name dropping his father, I have phonebooked (I guess a new term can be coined, Facebooked) his immediate family. The process was simple, Claudio had already provided his father’s middle name and both last names. By going on to the federal government’s website with the information I already had (his CURP), and guessing his father’s first name (I got it on the second try), I managed to get details on Claudio’s birth certificate. His father’s full name, and his mother’s full name.
(Side note, Machine Translation turns Juan into John, but Claudio's father's first and middle names are Juan Manuel)
What I present to you today is not a critique of Claudio’s family, but rather a portrait of Claudio’s family from someone from the outside looking in.
Claudia was a rehearsal teacher for the Taller de Coreografía (Choreography Workshop) of the UNAM. Well trained in classical dancing, Claudia began her career as a dancer for the workshop. When Claudia gave birth to Claudio, she was given the opportunity to become a rehearsal teacher by her boss, Gloria Contreras. In an audio interview (archive) that she gave in 2016, she mentioned that she was able to bring her son at 2 months old, which gives some truth towards what Claudio claimed, that his mom brought him in to work, and allowed him to listen to classical music. In that same interview, it seems that she was well aligned with left leaning political beliefs of that time, which I will go over later. Claudio was telling the truth in the fact that a “Bellas Artes faggot” by the name of Diego Vasquez, was the one that fired Claudia from her job at the workshop. Diego eventually began gutting the workshop where Claudia tried to preserve her former boss’s legacy, along with the rich history of the workshop (archive).
As I stated earlier, Claudia seems to have leaned left in certain political issues, such as the femicides that were going on in the State of Mexico and Ciudad Juarez. I will leave some interesting tidbits about Claudia’s interview.
I would not be surprised if Claudia supports left leaning ideals. Even though Claudio has stated that his family has gone through a religious reawakening in 2019, it probably wouldn’t influence much the political ideals that she may hold, some of which Claudio vehemently opposes, such as abortion or LGBT rights. At times, it may seem that some feminists are walking paradoxes by pertaining to the Catholic church, and supporting feminist ideology, but believe me when I say there are a lot of women in Mexico who hold both very dearly.
Her Pinterest (archive) account reveals some interesting posts. Such as natural homemade repellents against rats and mice, secret codes for Android phones, and the typical inspirational posts. But a few posts have called my attention, like a post relating to cleaning your lungs if you are a former smoker. To me, it tells me that someone in the Hernandez Castañeda household is a former smoker. Another post called, “When a boy suffers emotional abandonment”. Although I can not specifically get a date of this post, other posts range from 6 to 9 years ago, which would make Claudio 23 to 20 years old at the time when Claudia showed some interest in that post.

Going through Claudia’s Facebook(archive), she seems like a normal person with a passion for defending Gloria’s legacy at the workshop. Her likes would include The Pittsburgh Steelers, Jazz, Salsa, and Classical Music, TV shows like Dr. House, Gilmore Girls, Criminal Minds, and Parenthood. Her interests in movies include, Chicago (the 2002 movie), All that Jazz, and Harry Potter series. But I believe where a more interesting point is the Facebook friends that she has. Which would bring us to our next chapter.

Some, who I assume are relatives of Claudio’s, seem to have taken a second last name, white sounding last names.

This, to me, shows a different side of Juan Manuel, one of which Claudio, either through self shame, embarrassment, malice, or a combination of all three, is the probable reason why he does not share with us. A side of a loving father that will do anything for his muse, his son. His YouTube videos tend to show a family man who loves and cares for his family and who deeply cares about his son.
Claudio's paternal side of the family seems to be large, even for a Mexican Family. It makes me wonder if he lowered his hostility towards his father's side of the family, if he could find friends amongst the number of cousins he has, and I doubt his disability would be an issue, seeing as how he has a relative with Down Syndrome.
We all know that his father stood up for Claudio when the Universo Mario people started to pick on him. Could it be now that his father would defend Claudio again, but this time on this site? Who knows? But if he does come to the site, I am hoping he sees the sins of his son.
