No, it was more of a "The Quartering" ripoff, dressed up as a Jenny Nicholson-style Disney video. Like, it practically plagiarized word for word an old Quartering video criticizing Disney for removing Splash Mountain (which was Jeremy's favorite Disney ride, so he had a lot to say...)
Sorry, I got a little spergy about Hambly & Splash Mountain at your mention of his old video.
I did a post in his thread about it based entirely on watching his old video & Wikipedia research.
Here's the video from June 16th, 2020 that you mentioned that Lindsay was mimicking where Hambly complains about Disney rebranding Splash Mountain due to woke petitions from Song of the South (1946) Black themes to more contemporary The Princess and the Frog (2009) girlboss slop DEI ones.
Hambly in the video talks about having last ridden Splash Mountain "10 years ago", which was 2010 or before. He mentions he was a little weirded out by all the Song of the South imagery back then. He said he agrees somewhat with the need for a change to the ride, because it's "cringy & dated" and he never really connected with it. But just not for soc jus reasons. Jeremy had never seen the OG Song of the South / Br'er Rabbit and never heard of The Princess & the Frog (2009).
I wasn't aware of any of this, and aren't trying to do an "UM, ACKSTUALLY", as it was 5 years ago.
But after watching Hambly's 2020 vid, he wasn't actually that fond of it and hadn't been in a decade.
He thought it was dated and needed change, felt uncomfortable with the 1946 stuff, but just didn't like the soc jus angle.
