2025 Israel vs Iran War

I don’t want American boots on the ground. I’m ok with air strikes though.

This was inevitable after their proxies got wrecked over the past couple of years. They’ve lost too many pieces to keep the enemies from the gates. This is just the endgame. Iran has basically been at war with the Saudis, Israel, and the US, and now the jig is up. If it’s true that Saudi, Qatari, Israeli, and American planes shot down the drones we could be witnessing another coalition on par with the first Gulf War.

I wouldn't say "effective"
Well relatively speaking in comparison to Iran, they haven't had their military bombed into the ground yet. The Iranians are just shouting about counterattacks and responses while their airspace is being constantly violated as of late and there is seemingly nothing they can do to stop it.

All the people cheering on iran’s downfall because they are a mooslim theocracy have no idea what this will unleash and proves that race>religion
The ONLY power that can pose a threat to Israel is Iran. If they fall, Israel will be completely unleashed
The only western military in the middle east is Israel and Saudi Arabia all other powers in the region are to weak, to corrupt, don’t want to ruin their oil industry or are on Israel’s payroll
Litterally total israeli dominance over the Arabic world, maybe Saudi oil money could challenge them
I am curious why people think Israel has the resources to dominate the Arab World. They are a tiny country fighting way above their weight class because they aren't incompetent and produce as well as import great technology.

They don't have the resources to militarily dominante North Africa and the Middle East. Not even if the Americans pay them 300 billion per year.

Besides Iran is getting curb stomped by them, so what makes people believe they are the only power that could stop them when they can't even stop Israel from killing their commanders in their own capital. But who knows, maybe the Axis of resistance is competing and who can get more high ranking commanders killed by the IDF.

There was a report (German newspaper Welt reported it) that the Mossad allegedly placed "attacked drones" within Iran. Has anyone seen anything about that? I don't expect footage since IDF and Mossad take operational security seriously.

If that's true I guess Russia can share in its misery.
yeah there are two videos out but because Mossad published it half of it is censored so it's useless.

I wouldn't put too much stock in Saudi Arabia and Jordan joining a potential beat down of the Iranians. At the same time though neither intend to help the Iranians either. Saudi Arabia because there is no benefit for them doing so and nothing but downsides, and as for Jordan much the same. This was always the state of play for those countries even before October 7. Realistically, Iran's biggest allies were as you say. Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas. All three have been removed from the board.

That should have been Tehrans que to get up from the table and cash in what few chips they had left. But religious nut cases are pretty bad at deviating from a course of action once they have committed too it. Their only true trump card left was the untested nature of their air defense capability. Which in theory was developed to stand off an attack from the United States, which is capable of bringing in way more firepower then the Israelis. That it collapsed in spectacular fashion to a unilateral Israeli attack is honestly shocking. I don't think anybody expected that.

The whole game has been upended and Iran doesn't have anymore cards left. If they were smart this is the time to surrender. Its not checkmate yet, but the game has been decided and the checkmate is inevitable. But again, they are run by religious nutcases.

The only reliable proxy group the Iranians seem to have left are the Houthis who don't seem to mind getting bombed every other day.
I think they also still have the Iraqi Shiite militias, but those guys couldn't defeat ISIS without lots of outside support (certainly including American air support) and sat around holding their dicks when Assad went down, so I wouldn't expect them to significantly contribute to this fight in any way.

Operation True Promise occurred 12 days after Israel bombed Iranian consulate in Syria.

Operation True Promise II occurred 2 months after the strike on Tehran, or 4 days after the assassination of Nasrallah, depending on what you believe the inciting incident was.

Operation True Promise III??? TBD
