Don't agree about Rog though. And he'd better go first.
I hate to say it, but I agree. Just because I know he'd get some sort of smug satisfaction out of being the sirvivor of the two. Sort of how I secretly hope that Will Shatner outlines that mincing faggot George Takei. I could see Shatner saying kind words about Takeu, but in the opposite I'm sure George would have some sort of condescending or backhanded comments to say.

Prince at George Harrison's memorial when people wondered why the fuck they invented Prince of all people to a George Harrison memorial.
Now we're down Tom Petty and Prince, too.

I was just thinking about Tom Petty and how much it sucks he's gone, and you go and hit me with this and now I'm totally unmanned.

The context of that is nearly everyone was confused why they'd invite Prince of all people to cover Harrison's iconic song, and if you look at the other people when he gets into the solo, their attitude is nearly hostile. Then he completely and respectfully owns the solo and finishes by throwing his guitar into the air. . .
and the guitar NEVER COMES DOWN.

I understood what you were going for, I just happen to care a lot more about Tom Petty then Prince. I do have to give him credit for playing the ending guitar solo like a fucking god. I had no idea he was that good of an axe-man.

I kept looking for the string or whatever trick was used to keep the guitar up and damned if I could see anything. That whole performance was a great tribute to George Harrison.

I love that video but only for Prince's wicked guitar solo (the overall performance was kinda meh; I've seen much better).

Prince, as a guitarist, is definitely underrated (or maybe his chops were just overshadowed by his eccentricities).

That's really sad. Juliette Powell was a VJ on Musique Plus. the French-language version of Much Music but was she a VJ on the English version as well?

I remember that there was a rumour in my high school that Juliette Powell was one of the dancers from Robert Palmer's iconic "Simply Irresistible" video. I suspect that music video was at least a small influence on her makeup and fashion sense when she first started her Musique Plus career but, if she was only 54 (it would have been her 55th birthday later this month), she would've been only 17 when they shot that video so it seems unlikely (plus her Wikipedia entry doesn't mention it).

But then they also had this.
All of them agreed it's all right.

Orbison died before the video was aired.
What'll really get you choked up is that the magically animated rocking chair with the guitar on it is a spot for Roy.

They really were Otis, Lefty, Nelson, Lucky, and Charlie, the Wilbury brothers, and despite only releasing two albums, probably the greatest supergroup in history.
