It's just a reupload of yesterday's rant. He tries to disguise it as being about Karen Read when really it's about himself. He basically says that he was pressured into pleaing guilty because he was afraid of losing (and its consequences) if it went to trial. He further argues that guilty people should be "let go" if the state doesn't have a strong enough case. It's just sour grapes on his end.
>I wish the criminal justice system worked like the (Minnesotan) CPS system!
Also, what is he even talking about? The reality is that "guilty people" are "let go" all of the time when the state doesn't have a good enough case, i.e. it's not infrequent for criminal charges to be dismissed or withdrawn.

Fun fact: Emily D. Baker has/had 60,000 people watching some of the best lawyering of closing arguments I've ever seen in a popularized trial. Nick missed it all. She probably made $10,000 for a day's work. She's also been hilarious.

Remember the old days? I do. (Some of us liked the makeup drama.) She's soared, he crashed.

Sure, Nick will never be that popular again, he's completely ruined his reputation, alienated all his fans, destroyed his relationships, his family, all the money he got, and will never get any of it back, but at least he got to do a lot of drugs and pretend to be a rockstar for a couple years

Eh, I think Gabe was depending on texts to buttress his claims.
Lol. No.

Look, you can criticize Kiki for not knowing how to run a stream very well, and being extremely naive, but the dearth of content here is almost entirely on Gabe. Kiki could be the smartest and most well organized person in the universe, and this stream still would have sucked enormous amounts of ass because Gabe didn't really do much of anything to move the ball down the field (that said, I will concede the stream also would have been over quicker if she were better at this).

Gabe was the guest. He was supposed to provide the bulk of the content. Her main job is to provide the forum. Technical problems and stupid comments/questions aside, she fulfilled the basic requirements of that role.

This wasn't supposed to be Kiki's DM drop stream, so I dunno why people are giving her crap over that. This was supposed to be Gabe announcing the results of an "investigation."

Look, I gave Gabe the benefit of the doubt going into this too, while remaining cognizant of the fact he could just be trolling. When the dust settled, it became evident the man just outright failed to do anything worthwhile outside of getting Nick to sperg in the days leading up to this, and admit to something he didn't need to admit to. And that pretty clearly wasn't even Gabe's intent. There was no 4D chess move here. That's just Nick being dumb and taking an L on his own.

I say write off Gabe as a player in all this, and move on.

Maybe some good news regarding the legal effort to get the bodycam will drop, and the bad taste from this can be washed out. Or something else, maybe. I dunno.

I do feel like an hour of the stream was just Keanu being a tard.
That still leaves a good 3-4 hours of Gabe mostly regurgitating old shit everybody already knew.

As I and others pointed out in the days/hours leading up to this, WHERE he shared what he was going to share is considerably less important than WHAT he was going to share.

Nick has lost the "street cred" to legitimately complain about the government because it will always come across as sour grapes. It will always come across as him whining that he was punished by the government for abusing drugs (and his family) instead of a principled, dignified stance against potential government overreach.
I can guarantee the ONLY reason Nick pleaded guilty is because he didn't want the bodycam to be public.

That still leaves a good 3-4 hours of Gabe mostly regurgitating old shit everybody already knew
I agree on that. In a previous comment I said that he structured this poorly and others have put it better that most of the viewers knew everything. There was no need for background and if you needed it you can build it better.

The issue of choosing who to release stuff to also falls on Gabe. I can believe he got told by Legal Mindset and @Potentially Criminal that his format and presentation sucked. Why he didn’t go with PPP and Warski is the head scratcher. They actually interview pretty well.

My issue with Keanu that any momentum Gabe had, she killed. Anytime he built up something or asked her to play a clip she either fumbled it or interrupted it with comments that Warski would call retarded

Not the only reason. But one of the bigger reasons. One other reason was to get the child-related charges against him dropped so he could gaslight the world that he had been exonerated of anything with regard to his children. I think Nick would have agreed to prison time if they dropped the child endangerment charge.

I think he believed he could beat that charge in a trial. (He's in love with himself and always thinks his legal opinion is the best.)
But then the bodycam would be public.

Pleading guilty was the only way to keep the bodycam from becoming public. Which is why he had such an existential panic on his face when he found out Momma K was watching the bodycam.

Do not forget that Hardin has yet another ace up his sleeve. This is wonderfull. I have never been entertained for such a long time by a lolcow.

Let us feast.
Nick should have let the footage come out and fucked himself by fighting to keep it private

99% of Null's interest in Nick is because he wants that footage and he only wants it so bad because Nick doesn't want it to come out and locked it down

If Nick released the footage immediately there probably wouldn't even be a Rekeita segment on MATI or the casino anymore because Null and PPP/warski don't care about Nick's personal antics

I wasn't following the Karen Read trial until recently and I've been tuning into Emily D Baker's streams. She's real good at this now. She's pulling 40-50K daily.

I do miss the panels Nick used to have, like Andrew and Legal Bytes because the shared reactions were fun and the different opinions brought good perspectives. I like to hear banter between lawyers sometimes and that's missing when it's just one person. I was hoping after Rittenhouse they could have continued but the money and greed got in the way. Now if Nick was sharing any of that or compensating people for their time, maybe he could have been the nexus for all trial streams. But no, he had to go the baldo route of degeneracy and drugs. Fucking idiot.

He's desperate to keep it hidden. In fact I wonder just how far he's willing to go to keep it hidden.
