That's not completely without precedent. Obv, 2020 was 2020, but they did lockdown flights coming into/out of the country. They even had curfews where you were only alotted a certain amount of time to be outside of the house.

This has me convinced she's still in Kuwait. She raised her Cameo fee from 30 to 100 yesterday, obviously needing the money, but then shut it down the next day? Either Salah or a lawyer made her stop.

The U.S. has withdrawn their personnel from G.C. embassies, including Kuwait.
Kuwait has allowed America to keep U.S. military stationed in Kuwait, due to it's advantageous location to conflict areas.
Iran and Kuwait border each other, and right now, Iran is threatening to bomb U.S. military installations in several of the G.C. countries. I did not have this on my Cutie Bingo Card.

However, wartime makes for a great diet plan. Lemons, lemonade. See? It's easy to be a Positive Polly!

She did once loudly proclaim that she wished she could be in Gaza, cooking for displaced refugees. She might get the opportunity to do it right at home!

Though I do wonder why she never looked into actually doing it... hmm... must have been her valid concern about adequate toilet facilities on the front lines.

Also I know this is wishful thinking, but imagine if she got arrested within the next 24 hours. Just so "Chantal has been arrested in Kuwait" is right next to "Israel is bombing Iran" in the featured section.

There's no way she's leaving Salah unless she's forced by the govt. No way. Her claim to marriage is what keeps her going. I could see them or her doing a quick hop and back. Probably already did that. If she was really claimed, he would have legally married her in Thailand. Neither wants their business arrangement to end. They're both desperate.

Ordinarily I think we could all agree on this, as Salah is an uneducated do-nothing layabout who benefits greatly from leeching off anyone at all, even someone with as few resources as Chantal. BUT even he must have his limits to putting up with her, and Chantal allegedly putting him at risk of deportation to Syria may be that limit.

I think he’d put her out over having to pay all the bills and feed her a family of 12’s amount of food for each meal out of his savings for a month+ with no sign of any money coming back in aside from a very few Cameo dollars first. She isn’t cutting back just because money’s short, especially when she’s surely so stressed out.

So, according to this source (Chambers and Partners) in Kuwait "depending on the nature of claim, the three stages of court litigation (up until the Cassation Court) take between two and four years". Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but we're looking at around a year before the Court comes to a decision, provided it never reaches the Court of Appeal and Court of Cassation.
Gulf Insider says that in Kuwait "for those overstaying visit visas, the fines will be 10 dinars per day, with a maximum penalty of 2,000 dinars," and 10 KWD is 32.68 USD a day. We also have to take into account any fines they impose in the ruling.
How is she going to pay for this if she turned off her Cameos and can't go live?
