In response, President Trump federalized the California national Guard and deployed 300 members to the city to take care of the riots. Following up, the pentagon deployed 700 Marines to the city on June 9th.

All of this was in response to an immigration raid on Friday morning (June 6th) in the Los Angeles fashion district, where over 100 people were arrested at three locations. Federal agents fought off protestors with stun grenades, as well...

Not to the degree Israel is. Iran might strike our bases but they won't strike our civilian populations. They have a convoluted reasoning under Islamic law to kill Israeli civilians because they rationalize that universal conscription of both men and women renders the entire population a military target. It's why you don't see Iranian state terrorism against soft targets in the West like you do Salafi ones. It's always targeted at military installations and leadership, not a Taylor Swift concert.
