Monke has some of the worst admins and community I have ever seen. Those admins are the kind of faggots that would ban you for saying bitch in an empty room to nobody in particular. Just because they can. I think there's a lack of milk because nobody can stand even being there long enough to find something worth posting, or without being banned for not knowing what each individual admin's trigger words are. The one time I went in their discord, I saw an admin crying that someone that was actually playing the game in a role meant to be a radio DJ wanted to play music while they (an admin not playing the game) wanted to play some tranny meme anime songs like they do 95% of the time. Also late last year, they took a break from answering ban appeals because they were "burnt out" collectively. I've been waiting for a huge crash out from someone in Monke that causes a shitstorm because just from what little I know, its gonna happen.

I got back into SS13 to try Monke at one point and it was cool because it was like /tg/ if they didn't remove the fun shit, but also they somehow fused Goon and Fulp's admins into an even worse form. Also I learned that I hate Multi-Z maps with a passion. I have yet to see it implemented in a way that actually improves the map.

They're definitely just "Look at this quirky feature I added to my map" there's basically 0 reason for maps that have Z-levels to even have them except for showing stuff off. Only place where I saw Z levels utilized well is the torch from bay.

Baystation invented the concept of multiple Z levels and it shows. The Torch was made with bay's extensive mechanics in mind, which is why theres so many catwalks in maintenance, because on bay you can actually mantle them to traverse Z levels. /tg/ simply slaps multi Z onto maps with no care.
