In Minnesota, two Democratic state legislators, Senator John Hoffman and Representative Melissa Hortman, along with their spouses, were shot at their homes in Champlin and Brooklyn Park, respectively. The attacks, believed to be targeted, were carried out by a suspect impersonating a law enforcement officer. The suspect, described as a white male dressed in police-like attire, remains at large, leading to a shelter-in-place order in the affected areas and a broader manhunt.

Residents are told not to approach the suspect and to call 911. Authorities are also telling people in the area not to answer their door for a police officer unless it's two officers together, or call 911 to confirm the identity of the officer at your door.

I think Minnesotans are safe as long as they're not legislators.

Some posters in the US Politics General 2 thread have already found that both of these politicians voted against healthcare for illegals recently. There shooter could well turn out to be some crazed leftists.

I saw that the two who've been shot so far sided with MN republicans to vote against benefits for illegals recently so there seems to be a good chance this is anti-ICE terrorism

They'll just ignore that and scream that MAGA must be declared a terror group and rounded up, maybe with some free Joe Rogan and/or Elon Musk seething on the side, demand they be given the Alex Jones treatment at minimum
