I have braved my city drive and encountered... nothing. In fact, traffic seemed lighter in that area than normal.

I live in a blue state and was expecting SOMETHING to happen but nothing happened. During the Floyd Summer of Love they marched up on to the interstate and shut it down a few times. We had Palestine protests that got a little rowdy with arrests on school campuses.

This No Kings thing seems like it was a massive nothingburger. I was listening to the capital area state police radio on the scanner and it sounded like a normal summer day. The only odd thing was they ordered day shift to stay in for 2nd shift(14:30) to work the protests. At around 14:00 they reported the protests where disbanding then canceled the day shifts OT. Now at 15:00 they are back to doing normal dindu calls and traffic shit.

On the No Kings map they had at least 10 protest spots. The local TV news stations even shilled it "What to know about the No Kings event" with spots listed and direct links to the noking website. I think they fucked up by spreading it out to to many spots. They just didn't have enough people to get critical mass for anything impressive.

So far I can only find news on a protest in Amsterdam that supposedly has 'hundreds' of people. surprisingly no crowd shots, but they did take a picture of a dog.

I don't expect anything interesting. The city is pretty interested in keeping the casinos and tourists happy, so we don't get any chimpouts. Plus it's an open carry state.

As I predicted, the protests were just small crowds of boomers shuffling around for an hour before getting tired, and going home to watch some boomer slop on TV.

If you take a look at pictures and videos from the “rallies” you know what’s immediately obvious? (Aside from the sparse attendance, KEK)

There are hardly any people below 40* with many being 50 and up.

Trumps agenda: Cut immigration and deport is still what the majority wants, even if their support is mostly passive and quiet.

*No NORMAL people below 40 that is. You see the occasional genderkweer.
