In petty retard news, they have now blanked the entirety of Account Requests. The channel was previous just a bunch of randoms posting keys to register an account on the site, but i guess since that's been shut down there's no longer a need.

They claim it's because they want to instate their own bot, estimate arrival date: 2027(and counting!). The few editors that have left are being put into overdrive:

Heh "no vey" Shut it down

DNF2001 was basically a victim of feature-creep, but also poor leadership. The entire game was literally just built to have these cool set pieces to show in trailers (which they did), but their entire focus was nothing else but these cool set pieces, and they worked really hard to come up with ways to connect those in any sort of interesting way, but they failed. And when they realized they failed, they had already wasted years and many thousands of dollars on it. Such a prototype is impossible to salvage, because it was never created to have a gameplay loop in the first place.
I disagree. I don't doubt that they had a plan, but the vertical slice is always a part of game development when you want to show people what you're building and gather interest. If you don't do a vertical slice you're just asking for problems. Either your game comes out of nowhere and people say "nobody wants this" and you've wasted all your dev time, or you shit out a half baked trailer with no vertical slice and tarnish the idea of your game from the beginning. The real culprit of DNF's failure was continual engine changes and demands from up top to redo things. If they stayed on target with any of the older, original versions of the game they would have been the first game to do almost everything they did. Players don't care about which engine you're using. They care what you're doing with it.

That all people really wanted to focus on was what famous womanizer duke nukem was saying just cemented the idea of the project being a failure in my mind.
I can't even think of anything he would possibly be saying in the old version of the game that they'd want to take out. If anything, it's the final version of the game that needed lines taken out, simply for being shit Duke would never have said.

So, a TCRF mod by the name of Rick Fox likes to have this panel every year about unused stuff in games. The video itself seems fairly normal, nerdy white soy dude gives you the rundown on how old NES games function. The thing is, if you look up FWA, that's a fucking furry convention. You'd think this would be perfect for like, comic con, a retro games convention or some shit, but it's instead probably the most out of pocket place i can think of.

The evidence I had is lost, but I'm pretty sure this dude was or still is a babyfur or diaperfag. He had a lot of suspect shit in his twitter and furaffinity likes before they were disabled.

What little knowledge of Furry Weekend Atlanta I have is that it's where @Jaiman likes to hang out nowadays (along with whatever other furfag gatherings are there in Metro Atlanta). Specifically, Jaiman bullies his pooner "girlfriend" to drive him around so he can engage in orgies with other zoofags because apparently that's his sole hobby in "life" besides being a failed speedrunner.

Some recent FWA shenanigans got highlighted here on the farms. That place is...unholy

If I went through the shit Chris Senn went through while working for Sega I'd make the shittiest Sonic game I possibly could too.

Sonic Boom's development is fucking tragic. You got a bunch of talented devs, a game directed by a guy who worked at Naughty Dog when they actually made good games (Crash and Jak), and you're all set to make this next-gen Sonic game pushing the cutting edge of hardware. Then next minute, Sega signs their soul to Nintendo, and you've got to somehow jury rig the CryEngine 3 to work on Wii U, a system it was not designed for. Then, while still putting out fires and figuring out how to even make the game RUN on Wii U, you gotta throw out all your open world plans, all your story ideas, all the interesting shit about the game, and dumb it down to fit the kid's cartoon it's now tied to. And the best part? Sega's not budging on that deadline. These poor bastards never stood a chance. I'm not gonna claim Boom was ever gonna be high art, but when you look at how much more expansive the game was when it was targeting PS4/Xbox One/PC, it would've been a million times better than what we got.

And this fucking guy associated with this disaster is given close ties to TCRF? No wonder X makes so many statements about "stepping in dogshit". That said, I've lack the screenshots to post but I'm told this guy's been part of Jul as well.

Never-lived-with-gypsies Rroma respecter idiots.
I didn't understand gypsies until my European friends told me about them, and how bad they were. As a little kid, I genuinely thought they were fictional magical fortune tellers from the books I read. One told me about how he remembers one gypsy woman would pinch her baby to make it cry, and her children would go around pickpocketing while everyone was distracted by the crying baby. Even besides that, the way gypsy pisses off so many people besides people who lived near them will be hilarious to me. It's just one fucking word :story:

Love how they shit on someone for wanting to archive/scrape the whole site.
From a sysop perspective I get the complaint. But hey XKeeper, ever consider people wouldn't feel the need to do this so much if you weren't an absolute raging gremlin that throws childish ban-happy hissy fits? Maybe stop removing users that contribute extremely large amounts of quality content just because they ONCE visited a website that doesn't fellate every inch of your political agenda? Or someone uses content from the site in a video with resonable credit.
You're just an awful archivist.
Thing is that we all draw from the same well. Even if the tranny somehow made it impossible to archive a page of "Troonjak's estrogen adventures", nothing is stopping someone from disassembling the game and re-writing the article somewhere else, complete with screenshots, videos ect.
Some of these pages are so incomplete you might as well start over anyways, it's mostly the beta builds and data breach articles that are of use. Everything else is a starting point, more or less, you're likely to find more data than you see on TCRF if you look hard enough. What people need to figure out is how to host a site which cannot be taken down or infiltrated by troons, that's the real issue and not how to backup knowledge that's already public. Transcribing it will take a while but once the site to host it on is online and stable, it will be a piece of cake in comparison.
Hello from page 34 btw

Does it matter if someone does make a TCRF competitor site? The type of people who will flock to it and contribute regularly are the same kind of turbo autists that will eventually troon out themselves and bring us full circle. Even if a group of completely normal people started a replacement, the content is basically The King in Yellow, only for spergs, and would turn them in time.

I'm starting to become concerned that this thread will eventually devolve into A-logging against troons in a similar manner to the Ultrakill thread while everyone just sits around, doing nothing, and that TCRF competitor site never gets made.
First, someone needs to actually archive 100% of the website. Again, I can do it manually, but I need to buy a new high capacity SSD first, it's on my list of things to do but I dunno when I will eventually get around to it. Second part is actually hosting a website, and that will require someone with experience. Best thing to do right now if you're actually serious about an alternative is to look for someone willing to host one, it's a big responsibility and that someone HAS TO hate troons or at least agree to insulate the site against them, otherwise this whole thing is a waste of time.
This isn't impossible, but I would not know a first thing about hosting a site, or where to find someone who would be willing to. This is a big forum however, and I know there is people from the community lurking right now. I'm already a data hoarder so I will focus on what I can, I would love to know if someone here has any experience with networking.

Yes, there is plenty of people who contribute to cut content and beta research who are sick and tired of troons. They are a loud minority but they control all the discussions and sites, we need an alternative just like the farms exist as possibly the last free speech site on the internet.
