What kind of military parade doesn't have music? Even the commies know to have music for their parades.
I agree, you have all these army marching bands and they just have random loud speaker music that I would expect on some 2010 edit of this parade.

Anyway this guy seems like he awkwardly doesn't know what to do

One thing that stands out is the parade lacks the Trump flair. That spark of luxury and grandeur. I wonder how much he had to do with this?
Seeing the kids in the audience enjoy it is pretty cute, but for sure needed more practice especially on marching in step.
I'm hoping next year's big beautiful birthday party for the USA will have more Trump influence.
An article on the subject released earlier this month states that planning for the parade only began a couple months ago.

I do think it's unprofessional to have the announcer shouting out sponsors during the parade. Do that at the very start or end, if you must.

I didn't expect a full on Victory Day style parade, but I do agree this kinda looks sad. I'm not going to wet my pants over troops waving and smiling in a history themed parade but it does appear they've neglected drill in favor of trans rights and #metoo training. If there was more time to plan and put this together it could've been really good, but it's still better than the heaps of self loathing and WE WUZ we would've gotten with Kamala.

To break
Second hand information.

My boss came into the shop a few hours after I did. He takes a similar but different route than I do to get here.

According to him he saw some nokings protesters, "about a hundred", in a different location than where it was scheduled on the map
To break up the discussion of the parade, had a customer come into the story. Gray haired older skinny white lady. She mentioned in passing she was a protester.

According to her, there was a signficant turnout at the city hall protest, at least 700 by her counting. She noted it was a surprisingly large amount for this city.

She also mentioned her local democrat organization have a lot of members from a local (Unitarian?) church, and that church heavily promoted the nokings protest.

I honestly might take a slight detour on the way home to see what the aftermath looks like.
