Black folks I know are pissed about this whole “No Kings” thing because this is the Saturday before Juneteenth and a lot of them actually have parties/free concerts and stuff like that going on today so having a protest screws with their stuff and they don’t like it, (and yes I know Juneteenth is on Thursday this year so it’s closer to next Saturday than this Saturday but they don’t care, they’re celebrating all week and both weekends).

I know people who are in their mid to late 50s who, at the site or hearing a different opinion, get violent and aggressive towards you. They spend all day every day completely isolated in their echo chambers. They lose an election and think the word is over.

"Fuck Drumpf" probably isn't going to pass muster, and in the absence of a unified platform, getting labeled as the party of indefensible positions like 'trannies crushing real women's skulls in sporting venues' is really hurting them.

Break the conditioning? These folks were born with a radio on in the background only to be replaced later by a TV. They were raised to believe that every word uttered by Murrow/Cronkite/Rather/etc was and is the God’s Honest Truth. -about 100 people
-almost all white, NO BLACKS, the few beaners had mexican flags
-majority older
-trend among the younger folks in attendance is that the younger women were almost all fat and the younger men were all irl soyjacks.

They are currently seething on reddit because they think the local news oversimplified the coverage of the protest and gave disproportionate screentime to the cotton candy-haired trigglypuffs in the crowd.

That is the due process. After ICE detains someone, either of two things happen: 1. The alien already has an outstanding order of removal issued by an immigration judge so they get deported, or 2. The alien doesn’t have an outstanding order of removal, so they are put into removal proceedings before an immigration judge. There’s your due process. ICE doesn’t just grab them and throw them onto planes. Why is it so hard for liberals to understand this?
