There seems to have been a "No Kings" protest in that part of that more leftist big city I used to "live" in, but in the more rural and conservative place I'm around now, it was just a normal Saturday. I think the protests outside of leftist crapholes like Portland or NYC were usually actual peaceful protests rather than the "peaceful protests".

Pretty much that in the day and then after dark it kicked off a bit again in some places. I saw Seattle, LA and Portland. In Portland they vandalised an ICE centre, and the cops did fuck all. In LA after curfew, the cops were firing non-lethal rounds and a hell of a lot of tear gas + horses were out. I wouldn't say the night-time shit was any worse than it has been, if anything one of the least bad nights

There were enough people out to give the news some good wide shots. But the largest demonstrations were in places like Philadelphia and LA, places that already believed the message. Otherwise it was just like that last national protest (I forget the name) and was mostly older people in small groups on street corners.
