Xkeeper is the kind of contemptible retard who should never ever be allowed to run something or have any kind of power over anything, but as just so often happens in the current year, does for some reason.
To be fair, the site is old enough that they've been one of the first, if not the first, ones to broadly document cut content in an organized manner. This is less so a matter of permission (nor it ought to be, if you ask me,) and more of who actually went and did it. There was no takeover of a "troonless" TCRF; these people were running it from the start. Can't begrudge him for doing a bit of homesteading. And besides, with a different ideological valence, this is the driving thought/justification behind various progressives and troons taking over communities: "the people who built it are chuds and don't deserve it."
However, you can think of sites like TCRF as strategic resources. They provide value to users in their niche, and the owner in turn can extract value from contributors. A bit of competition wouldn't hurt, though. You can get away with a lot more if you have a monopoly on your specific niche service, such as documenting cut content.
An upstart will also need to make their resource preferable to the original with first-mover advantage. "No trannies" is one of these selling points, but it's an open question whether there is an untapped market in that. As things
appear right now, the type of guy that would contribute is at most neutral to pride flag nonsense, though based on what made this drama break out, I believe we are witnessing a shift in that. And there are clear signs of resentment towards the TCRF crew.
My own personal wishlist for a hypothetical TCRF+ would be adding documentation for the software architecture of a game, and documentation for the formats it uses for assets, etc.
Anyway, something more on topic. Xpadder would know about that, wouldn't he:
