Honest verdict from people here: is this season worth following live or just following this thread? I watched last season live and followed the thread and it was enjoyable but I would have to sacrifice some other shit I'm doing to follow it well this time around. Watching live is really time consuming (I don't mind paying the subscription fee since they put out a product that is worth paying for)

I think people misunderstood the post I made a few pages earlier which was 90% shitposting but started with "Is this shit worth watching?" which I didn't really get an answer for.

I only ever watched the show live AND kept up with happenings here, on the twitter hashtag, etc. I know people who literally only watch the recaps and episodes and I have no idea how they even enjoy the shit. It sounds like an awful way to experience the show. But if you don't want to get sucked in to watching 24/7 then just do what you did last time and check in live during big moments while also keeping up with the thread. So far, the first two days have been good. Last night Freddie's antics made me laugh really hard and I'm glad I was watching live.

I gather that the live recaps miss a lot of nuance and some key moments that people won't fully agree on as being key moments. I'll think about how to follow it but kinda sad I missed the intro day properly.
