ferdinand and isabella of spain passed the alhambra decree to expel jews from their realm in 1492, barely 20 years after the unification of aragon and castille
over the next decades and centuries, spain went on to become one of the greatest naval and colonial powers on the planet, controlling huge parts of the americas and extending its influence as far as the philippines.
i'm not implying that expulsion of jews made spain great, i doubt it made any difference at all tbh, but spains alhambra decree is as far as i know the only example of a major european state actually doing the whole "expel the jews" meme, so it's the most meaningful example of this.
the rest of the "109 countries that expelled the jews" meme list is mostly jokes, it's all tiny counties, duchies, prince-bishoprics or free cites in the HRE, where there were thousands of such estates. jews getting expelled by one local lord just meant that they would move a couple dozen miles over and settle on the neighboring lords land instead.
