So, to be fair to Iran, it might also be because they are using "medium" range (functionally long range for tactical purposes though) ballistic missiles.
Medium & Intermediate range ballistic missiles are made to throw WMDs (mostly nukes, but chemical weapons could in theory be used to similar effect), and they are made to fly really high really fast and travel long distances on a ballistic arc. This doesn't lend itself well to precision accuracy, but hey if you are shooting a nuke it doesn't matter if you miss the target by 250m when he's dead anywhere inside of 1000m of your warhead landing.

The issue comes in with conventional munitions which don't have as big lethal radius. It's fine if you're Saddam firing Scuds at vague targets like "Tel Aviv", "Riyadh" or "Isfahan" but becomes rapidly problematic when you need to hit a sub-50m target. They are fine and effective hitting Haifa but trying to hit a specific target such as a specific IDF commander or an air-defense radar means that if you do not that warhead inside of 50m you are going to have a hard time.

Right now the only alleged precision hit in Israel verified by multiple sources is the IDF HQ, which I'm assuming they're talking about the Matchal Tower, is about 50m x 50m wide.

I will say Israel so far has done damage to Iran that can be measured in "years", and even going off of anti-Israeli sources like Al-Jizzrag the Iranian's have lost top commanding officers and other high-level officials.
Both sides have hit each other's energy infrastructure.
Israel has hit a lot more Iranian air bases and Iranian air defense, but Iran also has more airbases to hit and Israel actually has weapons that can functionally hit a SAM 9/10 times.

However, Iran could get lucky and off Netanyahu tomorrow or score a SpiderWeb style op and disable a chunk of Israeli aviation the next day, so it's still to early to call an outcome.

Yes, but also no. Recent Iran's missiles have REV with active rocket booster making them gain speed greater than they would from ballistic arc and gravity acceleration. In turn, they achieve speeds in excess of M10 which makes them immune.
