I was lucky enough to grow up on an acreage and my dad supplying us with cheap Hondas cars to go rip around the property in. That's how my brother and sisters learned manual, even some of my friends, the grind till you find method.

Even our driver instructor at 15 made us drive stick, with him having no safety net to stop or anything on his side, as he said it made everyone a better driver as you have to pay attention to a few things more.

I just belive Phil drives with both his feet, his left foot straddling the brake peddle, hunched up behind the wheel like a 70yr old Grandma

It's really weird what he considers expensive and not. Like an 80 dollar video game is absurd, a 500 dollar nintendo switch is absurd, but a 300 dollar wheel, just this assessory he's going to use for 1 joke game is totally normal and everyone should understand. The way he thinks about money in general and also the things he spends it on are some of his strangest attributes if you ask me.

I don't know why he's playing Truck Sim.
He's not a truck guy who drives trucks in real life. If he plays a proper truck sim he would not know if the game was accurate or not since he's not a trucker guy who drives trucks all the time. It's lost on him. Do you get it?

He sounded like he was showing actual enthusiasm earlier during Blue Prince right after he unlocked the King's Throne room and was walking around it. When he does the awkward laughs a lot (3 times within 10 minutes, I think?) it's an indicator that he's super nervous about stuff. He probably hasn't been so nervous he was sweating since Jaha.

He views his fans as infinitely beneath him and thus not worthy of his pity (if he even has pity). Even his biggest whale, OIC (who has to have donated 10k+ so far, right?), will still get weird awkward laughs as a response to contribution messages or massive verbal berating if he doesn't donate enough and fall into the framework that DSP expects a dent to be in (donates a lot of money, talks in chat, only talks about the game, never talks about trolls....but if I added the whole list I'd be here all day).

In retrospect, how bizarre was the period of time between Sir Moist mentioning that Phil was a disgusting beggar and his Kino casino renaissance? Phil trying his hardest to LARP as a genial and grateful streamer feels like a lifetime away when you compare it to his full mask off greed we've seen over the past few months, he must have been absolutely exhausted coming off stream having to hold in demanding money from his chat every 30 seconds.

I think he still has a valid license, but I also think Phil is/has always been uncomfortable with driving. We know he still does it from time to time, we have photo evidence of him and Khet in the car from not too long ago. I think, thanks to Doordash and the like, he drives significantly less than during the Leanna days, which already seemed pretty limited.

IMO, he's defensive because he knows people are only asking that because his driving is so bad in game that it looks like he's never driven before. I'm sure whoever asked was a troll who only worded it that way because they couldn't outright say some variation of "Phil sucks at this game" without getting the lean in.

it would not surprise me at all if he didn't have a license. he does not fix problems until he has to. with what he's told us regarding oil changes and broken bathrooms, it is not unreasonable to assume his license expired and he has never renewed it. probably makes kat drive when he's forced to leave the fort. it's a real longshot, but i think there's a small chance that he's doing this shit to try and "practice" driving.

It'd explain why he was whining to PPP about getting a Real ID. In Washington, a new Enhanced Driver's Licence is valid but a standard license isn't.

A Washington driver's licence lasts 6 years, and the last evidence of Phil driving was back in 2021.

So it's possible that he's let his license lapse due to increased laziness and isolation. And the idea of renewing and upgrading his license was an insurmountable hurdle.

Washington is blue AF cause of Seattle and states like that let anyone get a license, all a license does is say you can drive and you have an address in the state to have your mail sent to. The real ID is if you want to fly and it proves your a US citizen.
