I watched some of his vids and read some of his stuff online. Most of it is garbage, though some of his gaming stuff is ok. I agree with him that RedLetterMedia sucks, and I dont like most of his "anti SJW" targets, though he hates them for stupid reasons. But regardless of his views, he's not at all funny and he's really creepy looking. I'm not sure how he's managed even his triple Z list status of 60,000 subs and 3,000 dollars per video via patreon.

A recent post in which Hbomb attempts to express remorse for being a sexual harassment apologist. "Attempt" being the key word here: he tiptoes around the true reason for the callout, flagellates himself a bit, and ultimately frames himself as a privileged and ignorant ally who tries so hard to be a good person and is so sorry for "disappointing" people. Frankly, I don't buy it, and to me he just seems to be trying to deflect criticism and save face, though your mileage may vary.

What's with these people wanting to be "allies", like it's a war or political strategy? Whatever happened to just being a human being and having friends, no it's "I want to be a good, detached ally who does your bidding, I'm sorry I failed you!"

A couple of other members of the community have shared the callout post and their disappointment with what I wrote. I am heartened by this behaviour –it’s good that people in our little corner of the internet are willing to criticise people’s actions

Well, someone tipped someone else off and I got a message from the accuser asking me to knock it off, so this will be my last post on kiwifarms. I stupidly messaged them from a tumblr account with some of my personal info on it so when they heard about me posting here they put two and two together. My bad.

I will say this, on my way out, that Hbomberguy posted his apology letter to Gamerghazi's subreddit... which caused the socialism one to create a sticky banning him from their board over this.

For all the moral postulating and pseudo-intellectual fellating of the moral high ground and getting offended on behalf of others, I find it extremely telling of Hbomb's personality that it took all of this for him to finally confess that he's a rape apologist.

This faggot can eat a dick. He doesn't care about or have any empathy, it took him getting caught and called out for him to say anything. And even then, he had to put himself on a pedestal to crucify himself as if his actions were understandable in anyway.

No. Fuck you. You did jack shit. You literally said that you didn't think your friend could rape and felt like it'd be wrong to inquire about the situation further. You did the exact opposite of what you should do when someone is accused of rape. Even just taking people's words for it is better, at least it's not you sitting on your ass not doing anything.

It seems they're a bit divided on this issue. Some are happy to accept the apology, others are being more sceptical. Here's a sample of some of the comments:

It's all fun and games until it turns out that the shitty people are on our side. You would think that after doing this a couple of times that Ghazi would have figured out that maybe some of their heroes aren't exactly paragons of virtue.

This has happened to virtually every anit-GG celebrity as far as I know. Zoe Quinn, MovieBob, Dan Olsen, Linkara, Brianna Wu, Sarah Nyberg the list goes on and fucking on.


The only guarantee I've learned through GG is that the people vehemently that antagonize it are the biggest pack of loons the internet bas to offer.

I watched the first minute and he was actually funny, I don't really want to watch the rest because it's likely all downhill from here, I sat through his fallout 3 video and he seemed to be pretty bad and wrong about a bunch of stuff, and I've left the video going while typing this and looking at a couple of other things and he seems dumb when he talks about humanities being such a rare resource while showing that he's hoarding 20 of them so I'm confident this is a good idea.
