Eh, mentioning mothers on father's day is the guy's point. There is a mother's day for that. I'm certainly not upset about it but I at least understand the point the guy's making.
No one mentions fathers on mother's day. They just celebrate mothers. As they should.
But, whatever, it doesn't matter to me and I like Momma Kay, she's a nice lady.
Father's Day hits a bit differently in these parts when one is catching up on the latest Nick saga. I see it both ways and fully understand why it is an invaluable point to some to want to emphasize the fatherhood portion. I too want to celebrate the complete opposite male equivalent of this emotionally stunted superimbocile.
Unfortunately, our wife is not picking up where he lacks and attempts to supplement her with April failed. Their kids may not find out before they reach 18 just how much they are missing huge pieces of the puzzle as Nick's own emotional priorities are so twisted.
Some people reading do know though what it is like to have the puzzle pieces go missing, so it easier for them to pick apart any BS and make targetted observations where they land most. Momma K skillfully also highlights his lack.
Nick needs to be perceived as a steady figure of authoritative fatherly wisdom aka importance. Evidently he must transfer this responsibility to his own kids by his own insistence to others that he be placed on an unquestioned pedestal when it comes to where exactly he fell short when parenting. Even if it is far from the truth of the matter, he has to be the version of himself still seen to be worthy of dolling out guidance and strained dialogues to the plebs.
Comments on his poor parenting sting by far the most obviously because they go right to the depth of his inner insanity and inauthenticity. The state of his home during his arrest would reflect back reality in a shocking manner if seen by the public. So it shouldn't be surprising at all he is currently moving heaven and earth to keep this hidden, because it exposes a primary mode of deception in how he both portrays himself to and treats others. Video evidence would likely disturb his ability to continue this falsehood skillfully.
Nick wants it both ways, to be cool enough to neglect his primary responsibilities and "fuck the state"... meanwhile allegedly being seen to be a super dad that drives his kids all over town all day. The problem is Father's Day is about the impact of a
key male role model and not that of a cuck chaffeur.
