Of all the things I'm concerned about, a draft is not even on my radar.
A draft would be so politically suicidal, so universally reviled and outright ignored, and so destructive in the social and physical sense that I cannot fathom even the most bloodfeastingest, hawkish, oblivious warmonger in Washington advocating for it.

There is zero chance even the most patriotic Americans would accept mass conscription.

This is not me condoning our stance regarding war in the middle east, I just don't think a draft would do anything but ignite the fiercest domestic unrest since Fort Sumter.

Nope. I'm setting a hard line in the sand here. No more US involvement in wars that do not benefit us.

No boots on the ground at all unless we're attacked. And even then I want a full investigation to ensure it wasn't an Israeli false flag.
Bro, all I've said is I'm very confident the US won't get into a war with Iran. If you want to blow your load dooming about it then knock yourself out.

Recruitment numbers went way up after Trump won so the talk of re-starting the draft went away.

Yeah but you gotta realize, these people are out of touch and retarded (and most importantly payed for by Israel).

I’d like to know if Iran is so inbred they can’t understand no one will support them, at this point I’m sure Trump told the Saudi’s and UAE to sit this out (and they already didn’t like Iran) and Trump is basically pleading for them to just give up because he will send something into their bunker. And they’ll just be like a black woman and ignore it.

Nobody supported the Taliban much and it worked out for them.

Both Bibi and Trump keep changing the official reasons as well. Bibi claimed yesterday that the first strike was to stop a Holocaust.

You do not have the authority to arrest US citizens!!!
Yes...They do:

Being the NYC comptroller(probably even more of a reason to be arrested) does not protect you from the law and apparently being a candidate for office(you can thank Mushbrain Biden and his rainbow crew for that) does not either so...enjoy the free press and the cavity search.

Also it is noteworthy that most of the officers were not in fact masked.
Where's NYC, Lander? WHERE IS THE CITY LOCATED?

I'm pretty sure people had the same viewpoint pre 9/11 too.

I don't think a draft is going to happen, much less with how much people have been able to see what it really looks like thanks to the drone footage we've been getting. That said, this conflict offers no benefit whatsoever to the US, I can understand maintaining stability in the Middle East but this is doing anything but.

It's a conflict that the US should have zero interest in but still gets roped and will be even more involved in the future if they asssist either side. They can fight their own wars themselves is what I'm saying.

If they bend the knee to Israel then I expect the first cracks in the MAGA movement to start showing, bombing them before didn't work and it has only made things worse in the long run, I don't think this time will be any different.

If the US joins a war because Israel said so then how far exactly are we from the possibility of drafting young men for the same reason?

We're still dealing with the consequences of the other times we bombed the Middle East. I don't think we are going to get drafted but I can't blame people who think so given that we give everything else to Israel.
There will not be a draft.

I never hear anyone bitch about the billions of dollars we give to Jordan, or Egypt, or Ethiopia each year. Do we fight wars for them, too?
No, we pay those countries not to go to war. Egypt and Jordan are literally bribed with massive amounts of aid from America to preserve Israeli hegemony.

Israel already attacks Iran with our tax dollars and weapons, it's not far fetched to ask if and when they'll do it with our soldiers too.

Very well spoken. Does a good job addressing the fears of the voting population while clarifying the cabinet’s stance. I’m excited as hell to vote for this guy in four years right now.
I will reserve judgement on his politics, but also like the way he speaks. During the debates he extended sympathy to Walz over the Walz boy's medical problem.
Unfortunately, his "please and thank you" escapade with Zelenskiy looked all the worse as it seems that Vance makes a real effort to model civility.
