A husband and wife have been missing from their California home for several days.

RadarOnline.com can reveal Daniel and Stephanie Menard were reported missing by a friend on August 25. The couple was last seen at their residence at the family nudist resort, Olive Dell Ranch, at 10 A.M. on August 24.

The Redlands Police Department highlighted the urgency of finding the couple as Daniel suffers from dementia and diabetes.

Daniel, 79, and Stephanie's, 73, white Shih Tzu, Cuddles, is also missing.

The couple's unlocked vehicle was found just down the road from their home.

Both of their cell phones and Stephanie's purse were found still inside their residence, located in the nudist ranch, which boasts 5 miles of hiking trails with beautiful mountain views, a pool, a jacuzzi, and a clubhouse with daily activities. The ranch is close to 2 towns for shopping and restaurants.

Olive Dell Ranch is locked 45 minutes away Disneyland and the Beaches.

Their friend told the media: "There’s no way that Stephanie or Dan could have walked away from that car.

"She has a cane. It was at home, her purse, their cellphones — things they would never have left at home."

The Redlands Police Department claims there has been no indication of foul play, but friends and family have expressed concern about their safety.

Another friend of the couple shared: "They don't deserve this. ... They're just good people. They go to church. They don't deserve any of this.

"[The neighbor] went inside their home to see if they would be OK inside and they didn't find them in there, but they found Stephanie's purse was in there, [her] cane was in there. ... [The] TV was left on, [the] computer was left on. It was just very suspicious for them to be gone."

Their disappearance and lack of answers have left other Olive Dell residents scared they could be next.

One of their neighbors, Tammie Wilkerson, described Daniel as sweet and funny before adding how the disappearance is affecting their community.

She shared: "Dan was funny, and he was sweet. It just plagues me. I can't believe somebody would do something like this to them. It hurts my heart 'cause they didn't deserve it."

Wilkerson added: "I'm terrified. I haven't slept since this happened. I'm terrified that I'm gonna be next."

Chris Baker, spokesperson for the City of Redland, explained the measures the police department were taking to locate the couple.

Bake told CBS there are "search dogs from Riverside Sheriff's Office and a helicopter from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Office."

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Redlands Police Department at (909) 798-7681 or Detective Thomas Williams at twilliams@redlandspolice.org.

The San Bernardino County authorities revealed the cause of death of an elderly couple who disappeared from a Redlands nudist ranch earlier this month.

The San Bernardino County Coroner determined Stephanie Menard, 73, and Daniel Menard, 79, died from blunt-force trauma to the head and classified their deaths as a homicide. Neighbors last saw the couple alive on Aug. 24 at their home at the Olive Dell Ranch nudist resort.

The community became concerned after the couple didn't attend church the following day.

What happened after the couple went missing

The Redlands Police Department began searching for the Menards shortly after they were reported missing. They suspected foul play in the elderly couple's disappearance after someone told them that their next-door neighbor may have been involved.

"We suspect that there may have been foul play," Redlands spokesperson Carl Baker said. "While we were here, knocking on doors and canvassing the area, we got information that a person who is potentially involved in the disappearance of the couple was here."

The tip started an hours-long standoff between the police and neighbor Michael Royce Sparks, 62. After learning that Sparks was armed, officers tried to coax him out of the building before destroying his home with armored vehicles. With the home leveled to the ground, police found Sparks inside of a concrete space underneath his house. The District Attorney's Office described it as a "homemade basement-type area."

"He did have a rifle and he did attempt to kill himself when police discovered him, but the rifle misfired," Baker said the day after Sparks' arrest.

Police dogs found human remains, later determined to be the Menards, along with "bags of evidence" the following morning.

"I just want them back," said Sandy Marinelli, who has been friends with the couple for more than a decade. "They don't deserve this. ... They're just good people. They go to church. They don't deserve any of this."

Immediately after the standoff, police arrested Sparks for the elderly couple's death. Days later, the San Bernardino County District Attorney Jason Anderon charged Sparks with two counts of murder with a special allegation of multiple murders. Prosecutors did not say whether the alleged killing are believed to be premeditated.

Tammie Wilkerson, who also lives at the ranch, said Sparks had an ongoing dispute with the Menards.

"He didn't like them. He hated them, and he told me many times," Wilkerson said. "It's such a stupid reason. They had a tree that was on their property line, and Dan used to go trim the limbs and he hated that. That formed his hatred towards them."

He pleaded not guilty in early September. He's expected to appear in court again on Oct. 18.

There's something unsettling about an older woman posting online with all the sophistication of a PMSing 14-year-old.
And she better be careful about posting what medications she has, lest she find herself with a whole new set of problems.
The memes she reshares tell their own story.

Here's the link so you can look for them, and we can track her for updates.

I know they're already in the thread, but here they are again for someone to take over.

UPDATE:

Man allegedly admits to killing neighbors at Inland Empire nudist resort over a hot dog

The man who allegedly killed his neighbors at an Inland Empire nudist resort last August reportedly did so over a hot dog.

Michael Sparks, 62, allegedly killed Daniel Menard, 79, and Stephanie Menard, 73, in August 2024, and human remains were found under Sparks’ home at the Olive Dell Ranch Nudist Resort, according to investigators.

Sparks and the Menards did not get along, but as detailed in a court hearing Monday, the final straw was a hot dog, the Press-Enterprise reports.

A fellow inmate at the West Valley Detention Center reported to authorities that Sparks admitted to the killings and disclosed that he brutally beat the couple with a rake, a hoe and a hammer, Redlands police Detective Thomas Williams testified.

“[The other inmate] said Mr. Sparks told him the incident started over a hot dog that Daniel Menard had purchased for him,” Williams said. “He said Mr. Sparks felt that the hot dog was a jab at him, making him feel like he was worth only a dollar hot dog, and that’s what set him off that day.

He also admitted to drowning the Menard’s dog, Cuddles, in a sink, Williams testified.

Sparks also allegedly admitted to the killings in text messages.

When a former coworker checked in on him amid the search at Olive Dell, he confirmed to her that he was the subject of the search and that he planned on killing himself that day. Prosecutors say Sparks tried, but his gun jammed.

“Chopped up my neighbors,” he allegedly wrote. “Didn’t know I had it in me. SNAPPED.”

Definitely worth less than a hot dog.

Rather reminiscent of that one kid who killed their dad over not getting a pudding cup (or something snack-related) years ago. Some people just don't have any kind of love for life in their hearts that they're willing to end someone over something so trivial. FFS his neighbor was thinking of him and got him food, which is a nice gesture any way you slice it.

Absolute coward.
