It's very fun to see how far Rachel will push production. Outright telling her that they don't have plans to eliminate her until the very end will just mean that she's going to try and hold them hostage by claiming to leave every day. She's already done this endlessly and it's Day 5. She's doing it even right now as I'm typing this!

I'm sure production ultimately doesn't care if she DOES leave, but she's also a literal walking cash cow for them. I imagine there's a bit of them calling her bluff here. She's a horrible being who feeds on misery, and the more miserable she is the more likely she is to grind her feet in the ground and stay.
