absolutely, but they're really fucking up if they openly ignore these people and let them accumulate in their fan base. All they have to do is disavow them to give themselves distance from them, I understand people want money and can't keep up with everyone.

I remember the first year or two of VR chat. It wasn't full of degenerate weebs. It was full of 20-something year olds who spent all their time shitposting and trolling the fuck out of other people. Felt like the early 4chan days of Pool's Closed and shit like that. A lot of it was guys just trying to find different ways to break shit and troll others.

The streams were all about just doing really dumb shit, yelling autistically, and harassing "girls" in VRChat.

I absolutely agree, but his father is dead, and his mom is most likely single and trying to raise 5 kids by herself. On top of that, Elijah being autistic puts her in a terrible position. At the end of the day it is a lot easier to distance yourself from the tard when your have 4 other children to drive to school and soccer practice etc. Elijah seemed to have been in the Boy Scouts, his mom was probably hoping that would regulate him and keep him busy. I'm not defending his parent(s?), but I can see how his family dynamic played out.
