I can listen to this track anytime I want without having to associate it with blatant nostalgiabaiting. Having it play here is just unforgivably terrible and yet another sign of a show with no identity of its own trying to substitute that emptiness with references to stuff it likes.
It's like nerds posting on 4chan about anime instead of looking for friends in real life.

okay so Ocho Assholo is the Char from GQ Universe, Rose of Sharon is from Shuji's universe which increasingly looks to not be UC Prime
given the rather spotless look his RX-78-2 has I'm guessing this is some sort of Build

There's a theory that that's not the original suit but it's anno's rejected rx-78 design for the nu Gundam with the same internals as the nu.

Streaming has a lot to answer for. Everything needs to be content to be fed into the machine to keep engagement up, which means they put out these shortened seasons because they're faster to produce and get out there. But directors and writers still aren't used to the compressed episode order, so shit gets rushed and hardly anyone's satisfied.

Yeah, not happy with G-Quuuux. TBH, may just take a break from Gundam overall for a while after how disappointing this and G-Witch were.

Haven't watched original Hellsing, think Ultimate is great but not one of my favorites.
I've already said that Gundam IMO is a franchise with a lot more misses than hits. My favorites (ZZ, G, Wing, X, Turn A, IBO) come with a bunch of caveats and stretches of bad episodes, and I can't really call any of them objectively good.

I like bits of it. The setting and mechanical details are top notch and you can tell the staff put a lot of thought into this Cold War version of 0085. While I think a lot of the MS designs are ugly, they're ugly in a sort of industrial engineering way that I still like.

Machu, Shuji and Nyaan all feel a bit undercooked, writing wise. But that's partly the fault of the episode count.

I wonder if the short episode count was just cold feet on Anno's part. This is Khara's first real animation project after Rebuild of Eva, after all.

Hopefully they can stick the landing on the finale.

As far as I can tell no
Lots of people like parts, and lots are having fun with the show as it goes, but I can't think of anybody really thinking it's "good"

I like it, but it needed more episodes. Its very much a show made for fans. The movie was extremely strong but the new characters got phased out or overwhelmed by the old.

I think it's a perfectly fine anniversary series I would like to see more of later.

I like stuff like Smoothhead Char and Kichshiriya having the face off. Then Machu literally drops in and derps the whole thing
