Watching “affordable housing” be built in my extremely affluent hometown, and then seeing the population go from something like 90% white to maybe 70% white in just a few years made me EXTREMELY angry at the policies that forced it.
That affordable housing wasn’t wanted. The town fought it. The federal government MANDATED it.

The people who need affordable housing don’t fit in in rich white neighborhoods. They don’t belong there. People (white) moved there for a quiet peaceful town and (this is probably the most important part) good schools.

We don’t want Pedro and Tyrone and Laquiesha throwing punches at teachers and ripping weaves off. We don’t want “gangs” popping up in town.
