It’s very sad. I know several individuals who had that happen to them, say they would never treat their own kids that way, and then do it when the going gets tough (as in, as soon as the baby appears). Some these days try to make some kind of appearance in the women’s lives (talking to the kids on the phone, showing up on special events) but don’t actively participate in their lives. It’s just a massive shame, children are a blessing, regardless of how shitty they behave or unexpected they are, and they toss it aside to go live a worthless lifestyle.Why do African American fathers stereotypically abandon their kids anyway?
