There's not. Modern defense production is extremely specialized. There are exactly three sets of tools to make Abrams tanks, one in Lima, Ohio, one in Detroit, and one in Egypt. The factory in Detroit has been mothballed since 1991 and is in questionable condition and the plant in Egypt is for assembly only. For other, even more advanced equipment, some of it we cannot even make anymore. The tooling for both the F-22 and the B-2 have been destroyed to prevent espionage. It is literally, actually impossible to make either of those airframes again.there are commercial manufacturers for every component or equivalent from optics to composite materials
I love it.
It's a federal holiday (Juneteenth).Imo strike is tonight. Markets are closed tomorrow in the USA
Juneteenth finally being useful.Imo strike is tonight. Markets are closed tomorrow in the USA

Both are from "non-combat related incidents"
Israelis are meeting today under heavy guard from the YAMAM counterintelligence special forces unit
It gets worse when people retire and die, when paper records degrade and/or are digitized poorly. That's why they can't make Saturn rockets anymore. It is literally, actually impossible to make either of those airframes again.
