If the strait of Hormuz closes and prices rise to 300$ a barrel then guess what: American oil will hit 300$ a barrel or they’ll sell it where they can get 300$ for a barrel.

The only ones who’ll benefit bigly will be Russia and Saudi Arabia and countries like India and Turkey who make a pretty penny from reselling oil and gas.

It won't let me edit my previous post to avoid the double-post, but the entire DMZ is militarized on both sides. North Korea already has artillery adjacent to the border. The terrain in North Korea is even more favorable than that of Iran for protecting weapon systems and military assets, they can literally fire off their weapon systems and withdraw them into mountains. They even have tunnel systems in large parts of the country for moving military assets. Other than the fact that North Korea effectively has a first-strike nuclear doctrine, any nuclear launch detected from the continental United States would result in South Korea and Japan getting hit first, not even accounting for the fact that China would likely launch a nuclear response due to nuclear weapons being detonated practically on top of their country.

As far as Ukraine, what are you talking about? Ukraine had a massive military buildup prior to Russia launching their military operation. That's entirely the reason Russia attacked first. It's the same situation which led to Germany invading Poland and starting the Eastern Front during WWII, the USSR was staging a massive military force on the other side of the Polish border.
