To be frank, I have no idea why the US tolerates Pakistan. They are objectively worse than Iran. The problem is they have nukes now and receive huge support from China with their nuclear program. There are literally towns in Pakistan right now with Chinese names because they were sites created specifically for the Pakistani-China nuclear cooperation program.

They would literally have to be stationed AT THE BORDER, to reach Soul proper. Conventional artillery usually tops at 25-40km. You go 5km deep into North Korea from their border, their shells will land short.
Iran is going to be COP Keating but big along with turbo tunnel ratting and all of the problems that Biden created in the military didn't just magically disappear because Trump is in office. If you really want boots in Tehran, all the stuff Biden gave away to Ukraine would've been useful for that since everything is going to have to be flown into Iran for occupation.

Pakistan is objectively worse than Iran, even their diaspora are much worse than the Persians (look at the UK). They probably tolerate them because the Government also helps fund organizations like terror groups. I don't understand why we keep them as an ally, we have 1 base there and i think thats it.
