I recall there being one or two drawings of Salem with brown fur, some time after she acknowledged her past as Puppychan. It was much nicer on the eyes than the purple, and compared to the candy-colored freak it actually somewhat came across as black-coded. Makes me wonder why she'd abandon it so quickly.

That's the other reason I made the poll: a surprising amount of Kiwis aren't white or are only mostly hwuite. Iirc two-spirit is a term invented in the 90s and coined at an (Ojibwe?) conference in Canada, because of course it was Canada. It was basically supposed to mean 'LGBT, but Native-flavored' rather than describing any tribe-specific or cultural role. Since then it's turned into an obnoxious pan-Indian term for someone who wants to be an annoying tranny but also make sure everyone knows they are totally 100% genuine Native. Usually used by terminally online 1-drop girls from tribes with no restrictions on tribal membership who want to be a they/them but ALSO a Cherokee Princex.
