Saw the youtube excerpt. The football bit was not particularly funny aside from the end where the actor storms off. The gardening ad was okay at best. The Daddy Dom bit needed to be edited down, it wastes a lot of time and drags on. Maybe it's better in the full ep, who knows. It was overall kinda meh, not terrible but not worth the price imo.

DammNull was 100% right on his thoughts on sam hyde shows,he really wants Cariglist shitty actors to SUFFAH!!!,and the results can vary from being csometimes cringe inducing schitzoids minutes to GEMS of quality,this time around i have to seen the full episode to give my opinion but i think the episode is alright.
NOt bad ,but not peak. It really shows that Sam and company is prioritizing now Fishtank,in my view to be honest.

The gardening skit was the best of the batch and got a laugh out of me until the poop humor came out. The old man arguing with the old woman was the funniest part of the episode. But World Peace had way better skits that were CUT (30 minutes worth). Sam Hyde's wit in characters is gone and missing and it seems he cannot change out of the same dull character anymore and bring out Guy Love and shit like that. Just more Nigger jokes that have been done to death and more office men boss roles. We're never getting back 2016 Hyde it seems. It was a very extraordinary time. I wish they could get John Maus back at least. Speaking of which, no fucking music outros? What the FUCK?! The intro music and trailer music gave me hope that they'd at least have worthwhile music but nope. Stagnant air comedy... lol. The lack of Brian Ellis and other music throughout also murders this episode and makes it feel nothing like MDE.

I strongly recommend their older works and weirder stuff. Smocaine, Doctor Manslave, and Prodigal Stunna.

All of the bits went on for too long. The shitting on actor joke isn't half as funny as when they did it all the way back on moms. Daddy dom had potential but sam was talking too much and it wasn't funny, the guys they got said some funny stuff but if that's all they have to show from this sketch then I really don't think they got what they wanted from these guys.
I don't understand the like 4 minute sequence at the end of them jerking each other off.

Not looking forward to more if it's gonna be the same quality as this, i'm hoping this is just the earliest stuff they did and there's better stuff to come.

I think they cut out the best parts in the preview version to jew fans. In the trailer it showed a part where the 3 daddies were showing how they eat pussy and that looked funnier than the shit we have in the preview. How pathetic. Someone upload this shit to the pirate bay already so I/others can share it here and archive it.

I was about to type out the same sentiment, Sam is nicer to the Fishtankers. That old lady for the Vicodin Parody ad was fantastic though, she should be in more things.

This was just disappointing, really. They obviously had no idea how to structure the show around the new 30-minute runtime; the main sketches went on for way too long for what was essentially just a retreading of the moms sketch. They've always done improv, but it gets boring for them to riff just calling the random Craigslist actors they hired retards for 6 minutes at a time. Even the bumpers seemed to go on longer than they needed to.

There's nothing here like the teacher sketch or the race to the gulch from WP1, none of the flare that came from Ruse's direction. There's none of the deliberate pacing or purposeful editing that the restriction of 10-minute episodes forced them into. Also the lack of Charls was odd but maybe most of this ep was filmed before he got picked up for the project.

I don't know, I'll watch episode 2 but if it doesn't get better I'll tap out early cause this was just a slog to watch.

But maybe because I went in with extremely low expectations, I'll be the minority in the thread and say it was actually better than I expected.
Which is to say, not total slop. It got a few sharp exhales of amusement out of me.

Both the main sketches could have probably been cut in half without losing much, and probably should've been in different episodes too. Two segments in one show where the whole joke is the tried and true "epicly trolling these people we found on craigslist" isn't a good sign.

The Vicodin ad was a highlight for me.

The ending was masturbatory but I see where it's coming from. It was alright as a one-time thing. It's a pretty big occasion for them and something they're clearly proud of. Sort of a "were so back, how far we've come" moment. It's only in the paid cut, and most people willing to actually give 20 shekels to these guys is likely to appreciate the sentiment. So far I'm glad I didn't pay for it, but I'll stick around to see what's next.

That's what happens when you self edit your work, for all of adult swim's faults their editing and cutting out of certain skits was for a reason.
