I get being restrained from the start - Iran was probably scared of the USA stepping in if they actually did some real damage to Israel. The Iranian regime and other opponents of Israel often cite times Israel blew up a hospital to kill terrorists, but I imagine the true problem was Hamas members hiding in hospitals. Using their own people as a shield. And now, in a missile war where you target facilities important to the war, where the enemy is in a pretty clear area and not using a human shield, Iran blew up a fucking hospital.

Fuck this regime. Revolution can't happen soon enough. They're bad statesmen, bad military commanders, and even bad Muslims. Moderate Islam was once on track. Church and state being separate would curtail this insanity in my country, letting people learn to peacefully worship while keeping it between yourself and God. Overnight (Thursday), 40 IAF fighter jets, with the precise intelligence direction of the IDF Intelligence Directorate, struck dozens of military targets in Tehran and additional areas throughout Iran, using over 100 munitions.

As part of the strikes, and as part of the broad effort to prevent the Iranian regime from obtaining a nuclear weapon, the nuclear reactor in the area of Arak in Iran was targeted, including the structure of the reactor's core seal, which is a key component in plutonium production.

Construction of the reactor began in 1997 but was not completed due to international community intervention.

The reactor was originally intended for the production of weapons-grade plutonium, capable of enabling the development of nuclear weapons. The strike targeted the component intended for plutonium production, in order to prevent the reactor from being restored and used for nuclear weapons development.

Additionally, the IAF struck a nuclear weapons development site in the area of Natanz. The site contained components and specialized equipment used to advance nuclear weapons development, and projects designed to accelerate the regime’s nuclear program were hosted there.

Furthermore, the IAF also struck military production sites belonging to the Iranian regime, including factories producing raw materials, components used in assembling ballistic missiles, and sites for the production of Iranian air defense systems and missiles.

Additionally, air defense batteries, surface-to-surface missile storage sites, detection radar systems, and detection equipment belonging to the Iranian regime, were neutralized from the air.

The difference is that Hamas does intentionally use hospitals and schools as cover to prevent attacks and as a cudgel to beat Israel with when Israel does hit them. Let me be clear that there are genuine war crimes Israel commits, but Hamas does make some schools and hospitals legitimate targets by using them as staging areas.

If you want to be mad at an actual war crime Israel commits every time they go into Gaza, read up on the Holy Family Church in Gaza. It is the only Catholic church in Gaza. They have their own generators, water treatment system, solar panels, battery bank, infirmary, and school. It is staffed by volunteers, knowing how volatile the region is, and keeps stockpiles of water, food, medical, and humanitarian supplies on hand specifically for when war pops off. They have their own security team to make sure their buildings aren't used by Hamas. Every time it pops off over there, the church opens their doors, feeds the masses, tends to the sick and injured, houses children, and again, ensures their buildings are not used by Hamas. To give you an idea on how beloved by the community this Catholic church is in Gaza, a while back some hoodlums vandalized the church facade with some anti Christian shit, so the mosques took up a collection to repair the damage done.

Every, fucking, time Israel goes in, they immediately hit it with air strikes, mainly targeting the power plant on site, although they have hit the school, infirmary, and administrative offices as well. It's so abhorrent and inexcusable that Israel doesn't even claim they were harboring terrorists, because nobody would believe it, they just claim "oh we were aiming for a building a block or two over and we just missed." There have been incidents recently where the IDF just shoots women and children near the church, calling them "Hamas spotters."
