2025 Israel vs Iran War

That leaves the party of like 10 fire fighters and 5 police officers from Israel getting a vacation to california to do some press photos and hang out with a senator, really we should have paid for such profound support.
Yeah the Israeli government's humanitarian outreach is virtually non-existent, and I'm sure primarily optics focused. When people refer to "Israeli aid" they are mostly referring to IsrAID, which does the bulk of Jewish humanitarian relief worldwide. Their biggest asset is their support from the diaspora. It's impressive, honestly, because no matter where they are deployed they'll have at least a few locals there to help coordinate and translate. Iirc the diaspora is responsible for the bulk of their funding. A lot of US and European Jewish communities take up collections for them. It's best to think of them more like Doctors Without Borders, not USAID.
Considering they were trying to censor and scrub footage of previous missile strikes but this hospital strike is frontpage everywhere, I wouldn't be surprised if they let this particular one "get out" because it makes Iran look bad
Yeah it's definitely primarily about optics. The Israelis so far have been pretty good about squashing any footage or pictures of devastation.
Who would be retarded enough to just lie down and die?
They could try negotiating. It's like Obama's "red line" in Syria. Obama was absolutely committed to blowing up Assad, and someone asked him if anything could prevent that, and he responded offhand with "I don't know, maybe allowing US inspectors in to view all of their chemical sites and turning over all of their chemical weapons to us for destruction." Assad immediately offered to do literally that, undercutting Obama's stated justification. Trump has been talking about wanting to make a deal forever, talking about preventing Iran from getting the bomb. If Iran caved, said "alright fine, we agree to a total unilateral ceasefire and will let US and UN inspectors to all of our sites to destroy our entire nuclear weapons program," Trump would have no choice but to force Israel to stand down. Right now, the Ayatollah is doing nothing but subjecting his people to unrelenting attack and suffering for no other reason than hubris, and likely fear for his own position. He doesn't have the interests of the Iranian people at heart. What will hitting hospitals do? Will it end the war in Iran's favor? No, it will simply piss off the Israelis and result in more innocent deaths on both sides. Saying that the options are between being a piece of shit and laying down and dying is a false dichotomy, because being a piece of shit still leads to death, just the deaths of more innocents, and lying down doesn't mean death inherently.

Live free or die

idk it's incredibly easy to find stuff like this

Sure, but that's kinda my point, it's mostly cell phone footage and whatnot, it isn't media outlets or traffic cams or anything.
Live free or die
I know in your mind this sounds like a cool thing to say, and is some awesome stand against tyranny or whatever, but let's examine the "freedom" that the Ayatollah is fighting for right now: the freedom to pursue nuclear weapons and fund terror groups and sectarian militias to destabilize the region unfettered. That is the "free" part in this equation. He's not fighting for Iranians. Iranians are suffering under brutal sanctions, travel restrictions, repressive secret police and blasphemy laws, and protests are met with a wall of bullets. That's the "freedom" that you are arguing for. The Ayatollah is a totalitarian theocrat which keeps Iranians under the boot.

God forbid I use my time to actually attempt to document things in a neutral matter so that people can learn what's happening in real time.
Every time I see your name in a thread it's nothing but annoying ass arguments and shilling for Israel. I haven't learned a thing from your postings but I am becoming suspicious that Mossad is paying people to troll obscure internet forums.

I mean, he's obviously pro Israel but generally speaking he is also quite informative and at least gives an honest attempt to be neutral in his reporting. He's even let me know some stuff I wasn't aware of, like Iran's implosion testing. I would implore you to not let your disdain for Israel take away from something which could otherwise be informative.

Israelis returning home via Sharm El-Sheikh:

The Supreme Leader has appointed a replacement commander for the IRGC ground forces, Brig. Gen. Mahmoud Karmi:

This is a fairly interesting tidbit.

The regime has also arrested several individuals whom it claims are "Mossad spies" since the start of the Israeli air campaign on June 12, which further illustrates the regime's growing paranoia about infiltration and heightened concern about internal security threats.[43] The Iranian Parliament passed a bill on June 17 that imposes harsher penalties on individuals who cooperate with "hostile" foreign governments, almost certainly referring to Israel and the United States.[44] The bill defines “cooperation" broadly, including actions such as sending videos or images to foreign media networks that might "weaken public morale or create division."

On top of that during the internet blackout they've deployed riot police in Tehran. They're actually afraid of civil unrest even though it's mostly just a Israeli propaganda push as there is no data to suggest Iranian civilians are remotely close to that point.

I guess Al Jazeera is the closest to an Iran-balanced source since it's blocked in Israel or something.

Edit:
Yeah, you can tell where AlJazeera leans.

So apparently the Israelis assured Russia they won't touch the nuclear power plant they built.

Al Jazeer have a handy looking thing where they summarise key events on the day. These were the casualty bullet points for the 18th of June:

Incredibly dishonest. The freedom you’re asking them to give up is their ability to ever defend themselves from Israel, whose army has shown itself to be genocidal maniacs in Gaza. They literally shoot nuns for a laugh. For any nationstate to neuter themselves is suicide.

It’s also a little retarded that you think the Ayatollah should just totally do what Assad did because “look how great it worked out for him” when Assad lost and is lucky to now live in exile in Russia.
