Mauler think Bella Ramcey is a perfect casting for Ellie

Mauler and Dankula are young enough to have actually played (watched) the source material the series is based off of when it came out, but I would have trouble believing that the rest of the panelists (Drinker included) touched any game console that wasn't in an arcade. Talking about this would make sense for EFAP, but I have a hard time believing Drinker is genuinely invested in Druckmann's slop beyond the meltdowns.

I can't speak for Drinker, but MauLer literally had to play through the games when the show came out. I don't say that as a point of criticism (this isn't like Fallout where he hated the show but needed to do research to justify not liking it), but it seems he had no interest in the game until the show came out.

That's wrong, he was streaming both TLoU1 and TLoU2 back in 2020 when the second game came out. He was pretty familiar with the first game, seems like he replayed it just to catch up just before the release of the second game. They had a few episodes to talk about the second game, around episode 98 onward.

For Fallout (and Halo), he wasn't familiar with the games. Rags was the lore guy for Halo, and other guests for the Fallout.

Thanks for the correction. Mixed my timeline up there.

I'm curious, have any of them mentioned Voxis Productions(that guy with the puppet avatar doing a nasally posh british voice) at all in the past year or so?
He seemed to have dropped off the face of the earth for the ~5th time now with the last update being a community post from three months ago.
Oh I miss that guy. For the most part, based on his updates, he seems to have had it hard.

- Bad IBS with flare-ups that left him hospitalized quite a bit
- Joblessness and homelessness
- Finally had a place in his last update and then his dad was terminally ill and he had to care for that man

He only started Patreon and such in his recent update. For the most part, he didn't want to ask for money and he didn't even monetize his videos in a rather naive belief that YouTube would let him do and say whatever he wants if he didn't take sponsorship money, so I don't think he's making things up to grift,

I wish him well and hopefully things will come together for him eventually. His Smack Talks are genuinely entertaining.

Bruh it ain't the 90s anymore. I'm certain everyone there has had console experience, drinker would have been 10 when the PS1 came out and 16 with the PS2.

I was being hyperbolic, but my general point is I don't think the older panelists were playing PS3/4 games when they were new.

Mauler got a footnote in the H3 copyright lawsuit against Denims. Apparently their coverage of the reaction channels is one of the few easily available places to find the deleted Denims segments.

A bit ironic considering the nature of the lawsuit. Denims lets the video run to an empty chair, and is getting sued because she explicitly says she doesn't want her viewers to give H3h3 any views. By contrast, Mauler's obsessive pausing and excessive commentary is so far into fair use criticism territory, any lawsuit against him would get laughed out of court.

Efap is at its worst when it's just goyslop superhero show #692. Capeshit only appeals to 30 to 50 year old neckbeards with arrested development
Mauler’s success comes down to these guys being emotionally incapable of criticizing anything honestly, so Mauler hunting for plot holes for things he already dislikes is exactly what they need.

But, as has been said before, the object of all this is to just talk more about capeshit and star wars so it’s obviously a failed system.

Now today's episode is talking about the newest Jurassic World movie.
This is the closest to updating on Game of Thrones:
