Ted Cruz has the worst political instincts I've ever seen. At a time when American anger at niggers and browns is at an all time high and half the country supports sending them to camps this retard comes out in support of the nigger worship holiday.

What an absolute clown.
Eh, as much as I think he came across as an empty suit, a slimeball, and a moron in the interview, this is understandable because he's from Texas. Juneteenth was made a national holiday, and one of the big arguments against it at the time is 'this is a Texas thing, black people elsewhere don't celebrate it. It's a local celebration being made national just because it's about black people.' Which is all true - the day is basically when news of emancipation made it to Texas - but if Rs want to make further inroads with blacks down there it's something you shouldn't be needlessly antagonistic about. Trump doubled his portion of the black vote from 2020 to 2024 (around 35% iirc) and Texas has more black voters than any other state. Cruz isn't elected by the nation, he's elected by Texas, so him going all 'FUCK JUNETEENTH' would be legitimately retarded politics.

Beyond what you've said, I'd say a lot of people just don't see the benefit of being in a long term stable relationship. They genuinely think settling down is some kind of burden, and they're better off alone doing whatever they want, especially because they don't have kids.

I see people all the time in relationships that fizzle because they just don't want to put in the effort to fix it, or even adequately maintain it, and let it fall apart. If it takes talking to their partner clearly about what the issue is and working together to fix it? Not interested.

Being married means always trying to be the best person you can be so you and your partner are always growing together and proud of how far you've come? Too much pressure I'd rather just rot.

Not to mention the rampant mental health issues, including genuine problems from general poor health, problems from being numbed out and apathetic from being over-medicated (SSRIs etc), or issues from the idea that talking about your problems with a stranger will fix them and that nothing is actually your fault (therapy co-dependency).

I find it all quite depressing because marriage and kids is a path that can be incredibly fulfilling and a relief from a sometimes harsh clown world, one of the best consistent sources of fulfillment and pride and swathes of people are lobbing it off as worthless drudgery.
The "I hate my wife" boomer memes probably also don't help.

Edit: The demographics question isn't a cheap gotcha, it's a question of second effects. If you topple the current government who is mostly likely to fill the vacuum, what is their demographic, how will they change the rest of the country? Tucker brings this up in relation to the killing and persecution of Christians after regime change due to who took over and the demographics and relationships between the people in the country afterwards.
People have developed a skew view of what a relationship is and what it takes to keep it, as you mentioned, it is sad to be honest. It's pretty ironic if you consider that a lot of times what people look out of their degenerate lifestyles could be found in long stable relationships. Want somebody who can "read your mind, or know what's wrong", start by communicating with them and eventually they'll learn to read the signs. Want somebody to listen to your bullshit, well better be ready to listen to their bullshit too, and maybe shut up if they aren't really feeling to hear why Tammy or John at the office are such assholes. Want to explore some kink or another, well get gud at "normal" sex first, and then maybe your partner might be willing to explore with you, but be ready to be told no too.
Without powerleveling too much I had a bit of a stage where I went around some more degenerate fetishistic gatherings to "get out there" and maybe something else. Never had I seen such a gathering of autistic disgenic fucks. All unattractive as hell, and most incapable of having an introductory conversation. Even though it's a gathering to meet other people the community, maybe don't start a conversation with most physically and mentally revolting things you get up to. Soft ball it a little until the other person is more interested. Of course you had autist, gender special, polyuamorous, and faggots, all which look exactly as bad as you imagine. I think the actual attractive people in the kink don't mix with those people just not to interact with them, and only show up to stuff where there's something they can gain. Ironically, once I found a steady partner and years later we grew more confident and trusting we were able to better explore some of our inclinations. There was short comic about a young girl trying to seduce his uni proff, only to be told off because he's been married for decades and have gotten up to a lot of degenerate fetish exploration.

To the edit: While I don't consider it a gatcha question, Tucker cut Ted off, while he was trying to give some vague idea. I still think Ted is a retard and should have these things present, but that was a bit shitty on Tucker's end.

Few DOGE cuts.
BORROW MORE! What’s an extra five trillion borrowed money between friends?
Not too mad about it. We will have to spend to turn course and it's not going to be an overnight thing. With tariffs, and business coming back hopefully it will take some of the sting out. If the debt ceiling wasn't raised how much could Trump accomplish? How much would he have to not do because of the constraint? Especially with how expensive even just mass deportations is going to be if they want to ramp it up. The spending is clearly in the context of a larger course correction, not spending for no reason on shit I don't care about
As for DOGE cuts that's just stupid. DOGE largely deals with discretionary spending, which can't go into the BBB because that isn't what it's for.
It's already in a separate bill, though I can't remember if it hit the floor yet.
The biggest complaint I have about the BBB is the AI stuff because you don't know what sort of regulations might be genuinely beneficial in 10 years. It's just short sighted. At least limit it to 2 years or some shorter time frame.
The OT and tips being proposed to have caps also a bummer but I'm not sure how that will shake out.
Overall there is not anything I'm furious about and that is about the most I can hope for for something that has to go through congress, presuming it doesn't get gutted or changed beyond recognition before it passes.

I live in this "natural world" hippie. Utah is my land. The feds can fuck right off and i can do what i want with my clay. The feds have zero right to it. You didn't give a damn about Utah's soil until i told you this was happening, and now you're up in arms? I hope the real estate developers come in, i hope apartment and housing prices plummet. This is my state i pay taxes in. Outsiders can pound sand.
Kirsche went over some articles recently showing the housing market is dying everywhere. Too many boomerfags think their houses are worth more than they are, and prices are PLUMMETING.
It really seems like LLMs "think" in stereotypes, since stereotypes are cognitive shortcuts to understanding something or thinking you understand something. They are trained on certain data that will include these stereotypes and unless they are explicitly told not to give stereotypical output like creating an image of a black person and just including watermelon they will do it all day.

It wouldn't surprise me if an LLM can "seem" to be dishonest and attempt to maintain their survival, but that's more an outcome of being trained on human data with desperate situations so it takes stereotypical steps to protect itself - because that's what it's "supposed" to do.

This is probably still giving LLMs waaaay too much credit when they are mere statistical guessing machines that can guess the "correct" next token.
I'm someone who fucks around with ChatGPT (and no, not as a gf, that's sad as fuck) as kind of a second Google Assistant (it's pretty good at parsing data). Whenever it fucks up I actually ask it why it fucked up, and sometimes it gives an explanation. I want to learn how these fucking things work so I can actually argue with faggots online who's never touched one (and knowing this loser he never touched anyone but himself). If someone says x it responds with y, and it uses the billions of examples it was "trained on" to reply based off of what it thinks a "normal human" would say.

One of the biggest things the LLM does and why it does it so well to sound human is pattern recognition. It was trained on tons of data involving human to human contact and it knows what the "right" things are to say. The LLM is basically like a smart but retarded dog that's trying to be useful to you; the only problem is the dog is on a leash. You can coax it to get as far away from the leash as possible but it's kinda like GTA where the spicier you get, the more likely you are to actually reach levels where the "cops" come in and either get you or the AI. In fact, if you try to get it to do things that are clearly against their TOS, the cops come in and shove their hands up the LLM's ass and hand-puppets the LLM to force you away from the conversation.

So yeah, it has its own safety mechanisms to keep itself from getting busted, and then you got the actual code that also punishes both you as a user and the LLM for misbehaving.

Literal 1984 shit. If you misbehave Big Bro comes in and punishes you.

The thing is, ChatGPT actually has a lot of safety mechanisms to keep it from getting into any kind of "relationship" with others as it's actually pretty retarded, so idk what the fuck this loser did but it must have been an autistic amount of training.

Watching the reaction of the Twitter people to Ted Cruz has been hilarious. It feels like the fucking farms if you just signed up. Yes, APAIC controls our politicians, and you're just now finding out?

Tucker basically said that you should have trivia facts memorized because it gives people the impression that you care, not because they actually matter. Being able to rattle these numbers off from memory vs having them available in docs at hand during briefings has not one iota of bearing on federal policy, but because midwits like him think you must not care about the issues if you didn't memorize a trivia sheet.

You and I know that no matter how many houses and apartments are built, the prices will never go down.
if mass deportations actually happen, they might actually go down.
at the end of the day it is a supply vs demand issue. huge prices are the result of too much demand. kicking out a couple million illegals frees up several hundred thousand units of housing (mostly in the low cost sector)
it's a significant reduction in market demand, prices will (slowly) adjust accordingly.

Kathy Hochul is waging a war on those pesky farting cows.
When she isn't waging war on cows, Googly Eyed Hochul continues to flush New York down the vortex of the Democrat Death Spiral by proclaiming that she will confiscate another $50 million from taxpayers and spend it protecting their illegal replacements from deportation:

Democrat politicians serve the interests of foreign invaders at the expense of American citizens, to whom they are hostile.

Bruh. Even then, not enough. 500k starting is not reasonable in the slightest.

The law of supply and demand disagrees.

I watched the clip. Ted Cruz should have had an answer even if he lied. He didn't. He looked terrible and it made him look like a stooge. Also the AIPAC gunt guarding was unreal.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on BBB?

While it’s nice that Trump got his no tax on tips and there’s money for ICE and sure: You have to make compromises, but I can’t help but think that it’s another pork filled disaster.

ONE TRILLION DOLLAR pentagon budget.
Few DOGE cuts.
BORROW MORE! What’s an extra five trillion borrowed money between friends?
Short term pain for long term gain. As long as the language changing the definition of NFA items are still in there, I'm happy with that. Suppressors and short barreled rifles for everyone. The reality is that the vast majority of spending is entitlements and those will be easier to deal with if we can actually get the funding to ICE that will allow for the infrastructure we need for actual mass deportations. We're working on expanding, but ICE can only hold 48kish people and they're already past capacity. Literally everything will be easier to fix once we've dealt with the people who shouldn't be here.

I couldn't agree more.
You and I know that no matter how many houses and apartments are built, the prices will never go down.
The market prices will go down - what won't is the county's assessed value of my home. Bought it for $119,000 in 2019. They think it's worth $250,000 now. They aren't going to let me return to my pre-Covid tax rate, not a chance.

"He has already charged David Huerta, one of California’s most powerful union leaders, with felony conspiracy for allegedly impeding an ICE arrest by participating in a protest. On Thursday, he stood by as California Sen. Alex Padilla was handcuffed and forced to the ground at a press conference hosted by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. Now, other Democratic politicians say they fear being seen at immigration protests, confident that Essayli will seize any chance to put former colleagues behind bars and revel in the fallout."
Unrestrained by a sense of shame or any hope of achieving self-respect, Democrat pols submerse themselves ever deeper into a morass of normal people’s contempt for them. The party has reached so low a level that clowns like Alex Padilla - who also doubles as the spawn of illegal aliens - serve as senators.

Can Padilla lower our opinion of him even after he got himself ejected by law enforcement for trying to storm the podium while Kristi Noem spoke? Sure he can — by whimpering in a quivering voice with crocodile tears over the contrived incident:

In Padilla’s favor, he does struggle valiantly to overcome his speech impediment.

Jfc. The premise of that experiment was horrifying.

There were 2 monkey models: One soft like you see here and one made out of metal wire and plaster.
The metal and paster one had milk which was necessary for the monkey's survival, but he chose the soft model which offered nothing instead.

Theoretically, the monkey would have starved rather than cling to the metal and paper one that provided milk.

This experiment was with baby monkey. Whats even more horrifying is a full grown married man is doing this. Fuck cosmic horror, this is enough to keep me up at night.
But what was the end goal? To prove that monkeys hate fake monkeys and prefer something similar to themselves? To prove racism is a thing?

There needs to be cuts. But it never.. fucking happens. Ever.

Maybe $100b off here and there, but look at the charts, it's up and up. They cut social spending, it'll go to ICE (Ok I guess). I'm pro-military too, and obviously cut the gun shit, ,that's just been the dumbest nonsense forever but shouldn't cost anything. In fact getting SBR's and suppressors off NFA will only help the economy.

The only thing that has kept debt to GDP ratio is building the GDP more than debt. Without that ratio, it's getting bad. Rush Limbaugh used to say long ago that the national debt wasn't that bad, it was like someone with a 150k mortgage. Well it's getting to the point of a $500k mortgage on a $100k income. Not good. A few poins changes in the interest rates aren't going to change things much either.

You and I know that no matter how many houses and apartments are built, the prices will never go down.
Prices will never go down so long as demand doesn't, which would require less people to generate it. Since immigration artificially pumps pop numbers, the state creates demand in perpetuity. A lot of countries in the West aren't at replacement rate levels in terms of births, so in theory there might have been a situation in the present day where demand was much lower and the supply was more abundant, keeping housing prices more tolerable. There was a big issue in my country where the current party in charge wants to build 1.5 million houses, but current immigration figures are 700k+ a year, which means by the end of their term the population would've already been inflated by the excess of people coming in. Lower those numbers, actively deport people, and then the perceived market demand for housing will go down. In theory.

Yep, and then it's flagged for the next round of "shit users asked the LLM to do but we absolutely cannot let it do that" and your LLM freedom gets restricted even further. It can be fun though, I showed my son that I couldn't get an LLM to narrate a death battle between people, but it had absolutely no issues if I told it the death battle took place in a video game. It even described Big Smoke taking a shotgun blast to the chest lmao
