But you know another way to cut it? Deporting illegals who steal it through identity fraud, rotting out schemes to steal it through fraud and abuse, and improving the health of the country (to decrease medical spending), and adding work requirements all of which this administration is doing.
There's way too much idealization in this thread from some hardcore lolbertarians. We can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Cutting Medicaid, Medicare, and other welfare shit and Social Security is a great way to guarantee the entire MAGA populist dies quickly and be replaced by a snake like Cruz.
I don't think some people quite understand how a right-populist nationalist movement works. It's not a fiscally conservative or tradcon movement. The discretionary cuts aren't just to make government smaller because "lol government spending bad". It's mostly to get rid of shit that hurts the nation. Too much spending on shit we don't need happens to hurt the nation. Lolbertarians will agree Medicaid, Medicare, and SS are giant sinkholes, but in a right-populist perspective, you are willing to spend money on "gibs" or whatever because you know it ultimately helps the nation in the long run *as long as that money goes to the right people*.
Right populists don't mind gibs existing, they just don't want such gibs to be handed out to lazy blacks that shit out niglets and illegals that shit out kids as "anchor babies".
Trump is taking care of the second problem, but the first problem is either a race-based IQ/biology thing or a cultural thing. I don't really give a shit WHAT is causing them to act the way they do, but we need to stop fucking incentivizing it and allowing these fuckers to live off of the middle class.
That's why fuckers like Dave Smith will never be a reliable "ally" because he is too autistically focused on MUH SPENDING instead of realizing that we unfortunately have to spend money to make money and fix the mess Biden and his sockpuppet admin made. Libertarians never think of the long run or the health of a nation because they're not nationalist, they're ultra individualistic and only care about the freedoms of the individual, even if it compromises the safety of the nation the individuals live in.
Once one pulls their head out of their ass about the whole two-axis left/right libertarian/authoritarian bullshit, they'll realize populism is a multifaceted movement that you can't conveniently shove into one box. Disparate groups will latch onto it because parts of it support their agenda (ethnonationalists for example). But then they turn around and yell at Trump and get angry that he dares to let "legal immigrants" in or spend extra $$$ to provide incentives to businesses to come back to the states and manufacture here.
The only weak spot, as many have correctly pointed out here, is Trump's weird positions on Israel. Personally, just like Ukraine, I think we need to fuck off and stop giving them money, because it's not helping our nation at ALL, but the unfortunate part is a lot of the MAGA populist movement unfortunately has two-faced Jews like Shapiro and cucks like Cruz that control a sizable portion of the right wing demographic.
It annoys the fuck out of me that they have this "dual loyalty" and they get offended when we make fun of it for it. "I have family in Israel". Who the fuck cares? Why didn't you help them migrate here if you care so much about them? Weren't you the same motherfuckers that wanted us to end the wars on Afghanistan? Oh, you only wanted the US to stop warring in Afghanistan so we could fight YOUR war? Yeah, fuck that.
