It depends. Small countries generally look the best. You can stop anywhere in Switzerland or Austria and it'll look like God's beautiful earth. Same cannot be said in bigger countries like Germany. Netherlands is probably the biggest country that doesn't look like total shit outside touristy areas in Europe, instead it's the complete opposite. Rotterdam and Amsterdam look like dogshit, while a lot of the villages look beautiful. Europe is not one giant country (as much as leftists try to make it one) and I hope it never will be. As much as I hate the governments, I love this continent with all my heart and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. But it's at it's best when everyone hates each other and goes to war like they did in the olden days.
Never go to capitals if you're in the west. That is my advice. Every western european capital is a complete shitshow and you'll probably come back with a lost kidney and thousands of dollars in dept. The bill only allows at most 0.75% of the land to be sold, prioritizing land near cities. National Parks, Recreational Areas, Preserves, Historic Sites, and more are not eligible to be sold. That's the impression I got reading many of the Twitter comments. They can't articulate why Utah getting the land is bad, other than PROTECT NATURE. It's like, we only have 3-4 million people in here. We couldn't fill the land if we tried.
It literally has to be sprawl. We don't have many people here as is, but we are rapidly outgrowing our living arrangements. And yeah, look at the bill. We aren't paving over Arches. We're taking some unused land, a tiny bit, and making some towns.
Slightly unrelated, but I discovered that a Chinese company called JAC produces a pickup truck that I can only describe as a fusion of every modern pickup truck trend that urbanists hate and you can buy it outside of China in places like Australia. I remember when they were shilling Chinese cars saying how much better they were. How would they respond to this RAM/Tundra/Ranger looking thing.

The white is what pioneers could wrangle into arable land back in the day. Most of the rest is some combination of mountains, forest, sagebrush scrubland, and empty shithole desert. While the proposed sale of small parcels of land near established communities doesn't sound too bad, I am concerned about the door being opened for chink factory farmers to lobby for more land purchases.
