it's not like there was an infinite water tap and Trump walked up to it, shrugged, and turned it on, thus cutting the Gordian Knot. If California has a drought year, that decision will have catastrophic consequences. The reservoirs fill when rain is heavy and that water needs to be held for times when water is scarce. It is a limited supply.
California’s water problems are not supply, but control, and as usual Jews are behind it.
The Resnick family have been allowed by the morons in Sacramento to gain an ungodly level of control over California’s water supply for their agricultural ventures.

I was shocked when I got out west and learned that there are law firms and lawyers out there that specialize in water rights and water related litigation. I'm sure they exist here in the midwest where I'm from, but you never see them advertised or anything.

Texas is major oil state. Yet thanks to green energy retardery that were imposed on a federal level by Democrats, sometimes Texans lose their electric heat in the winter, and some can hardly afford AC in the summer. During Biden’s War on Energy, they were discouraged from utilizing their fossil fuel and technological resources to produce economically efficient energy. Imagine if William Faulkner had to deal with the resulting energy bills:

You can’t blame that all on the Dems; Rick Perry, the Bush-era Republican governor, was a massive promoter of wind energy.

There was a bill in the Texas legislature to fix the issue you mentioned, by requiring all energy sources to guarantee reliability (for green energy, that means either batteries or power purchase agreements with reliable power sources like fossil fuels and nuclear). This would make green energy completely unviable, because batteries and surplus generation are too expensive, so the RINOs/Dem alliance that controls the Texas House refused to bring it to a vote.

Luckily for Texas, the Big Beautiful Bill is ending federal green energy credits, making the reliability bill a nice-to-have instead of a necessity. No subsidies means that most green energy projects won’t get build because they’re way too expensive without the free money. Windmills and solar panels make more money from the government than they do selling electricity.

You do, because murder is illegal tough guy. You can't grab your pitchforks and attack us. Get over it.
I don’t think he was talking about that he was more talking about how anyone that does like a basic deep dive into your theology would quickly realize it’s not recognizable as Christianity at all.

Like if Mormonism is Christianity so is Islam, so is Bahai, etc

(I don’t hate tho, I like Mormonism, its history and the people, but you shouldn’t pretend you don’t know why nicene Christians think you have bad theology)

I don't have to do anything. Salvation is free, you have denied it. You are free to live your life and I will leave you in peace.

Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves

>leave thread alone for like a day
>people are still sperging about Mormons and WelperHelper

It should be against site policy to feature this thread, ever.
Something from Ben Garrison.

Where are the edits, though?
Considering how bumbling Tim Walz is, I'm inclined to believe it. "Mmmmnnyeah go a head and kill that there Senator sew I kin run fer Senate, eh?" This Boelter guy is turning out to be an interesting lunatic.

Matthew 7:5
Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

I can believe Walz did it. That state is a lolcow state that drinks way too much booze. Can't even get the Rackets bodycam out without a spergout, now this.

I wouldn't have such vitriol toward the Mormon church if...
  1. They leaned into their esoteric, gnostic-adjacent cosmology with an anthropomorphic God
Its an important and central principal that God has a physical body, just like you and I, and that is part of us being made in His image. Joseph Smith includes it in the First Vision, the founding inciting event of our religion.

Mormons could lean heavily into bettering the lives of their poorest practitioners
There are many programs for members who are down on their luck or in hard times:
Bishops Storehouses are local pantries for those who need groceries or other housefold consumables
Rent assistance is something Bishops have available for those in their ward
There are many in person and online Addiction Recovery Programs available to members and nonmembers alike
The church has been tinkering with online schooling through BYU and BYUI, making school more accessible generally
There is an employment assistance program to help people find jobs and apply for them
These are just some of the specific things set up to help those in need in a ward, not including the personal service many members do for each other and those in the local community, members or not.
I frankly have no idea why Christians tolerate Mormons, or allow them to claim to be believers in Christ.
Many don't, much like yourself. I'm not sure how people come to the conclusion that they personally are the arbiters of who is Christian and who isn't, and how a Church centered and named after Christ cannot be a Christian church.

@Dread First I don't think there is a way to redeem Mormonism because it's a cynical view of Christianity and religion to begin with. Everything Joseph Smith did was clearly the actions of a lying grifter. Honestly Muhammed has some similar issues, we know historically that Muhammed was a blood thirsty pedophile, just like we know historically Joseph Smith was a grifting pervert. I frankly have no idea why Christians tolerate Mormons, or allow them to claim to be believers in Christ. They are a disgusting heresy who are cut from the same cloth as the merchants He whipped out of the temple.

(by the way I would actually quote your post but for some reason that isn't available)
I don't get to bring this up often but your post with "Mormonism" and "Muhammed" in it made me remember: Muslim Mormonism!

They have their own view of what happened with/to Jesus after the crucifixion.

And believe that he is buried here.

My favourite titbit is the founder's attempt to "prayer duel" a guy:

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad > Joseph Smith.
They also operate two whole hospitals for the less fortunate, one in Africa and one in Pakistan

Heresy? Almost definitely. Better than faith they're being heretical to (Sunni Islam)? Also yes.
Also Mirza was not a polygamist pedophile.

Utah will become a blue state by 2030, calling it right now. Texas is already well on its way.
Deliberately steering your metaphorical ship into a metaphorical iceberg because there’s someone you don’t like on board is a stupid fucking idea.
You might want to live in a state full of tax-dodging, tax-credit-claiming, cash-in-hand illegal workers who soak government services without paying for them in order to ‘own the chuds’ but most rational people would say you’re retarded.
