As has already been pointed out, one major motivation has to be the false reports to CPS that resulted in his children being traumatized by being dragged out of their home. I'm not a fan of Ethan Klein, but harming children to indirectly attack their father is absolutely indefensible and they ought to be hanged for it. But since they won't be, I'm completely okay with Ethan bankrupting them and humiliating them in court. Since their own foolish admissions of what they were doing make is trivial to prove it was an intentional tort, their debt won't be dischargeable in bankruptcy and will haunt them for a long time.

Another benefit to suing them is that it exposes the Turkroach as being a fairweather friend to these roasties who formed part of the echo chamber that amplifies his message.
