Do you guys really think Iran should've just been left alone? I don't think Iran was just talking shit whenever they scream talking death to America, thinking they'd never get the capability to hurt America and should've just been ignored strikes me as extremely naive.
Imagine some guy on your street has a bunch of rocket launchers and machine guns. Enough to kill everyone in the neighborhood.
Meanwhile your neighbors keep getting shot up by this guy's big friend, who has an armored truck with a grenade launcher on it.
He drives on everyone's lawn, parks there, litters beer cans everywhere, then sets their houses on fire before leaving.
Of course the neighbors try to retaliate but he just laughs and shoots them with the grenade launcher.
You're thinking "Well I better get a rocket launcher myself just in case..."
Meanwhile you're saying to all your friends in the neighborhood "Death to That guy who claims he had the deed to the house originally! When i get my rockets i will give him what for!"
This guy with the rockets and machines guns says to his friend "We have to do something, this guy
might get a rocket launcher, he wants us dead!"
Him and his friend sneak up to your house at night, toss grenades into your windows, cut your power, and blow up your tool shed wrecking your science experiment and homemade rocket launcher project.
The guy on your street invites the neighborhood to hang out on his porch where the guy and his big friend tell everyone "we just saved the neighborhood".
"I told, them they can't have a rocket launcher."
Then they try to kick you out of the house, so that it can be rented out to some guy who happens to be the same ethnicity as you.
Meanwhile, the rest of the street, and all the houses except the guy and his friend's are busted up from the last 25 years of this going on, not to mention what happened before.
Anything but extreme cynicism here would be naive.
