The US are still the world hegemony and we have a duty to it's wider security. Whether we should continue in such a position is up for debate but this was in line with such duties.

Breaking the international law that America created by launching an unprovoked attack against a country based on an evidence-less claim that they might have been planning to use a nuclear weapon, which they are only building because America and Israel have been threatening them for decades, does not protect the world at all.

Make no mistake, the ONLY reason we didn't get pulled into Syria was due to the massive backlash Trump received from his own base. With the anti-war crowd of the right now cleaved from the body, there will be nothing holding him back this time.

I remember the shitshow of the first Syrian strike.
Everyone did a 180, suddenly the media claims Trumpler was da best president ever and his own base shat on him. Everything went back to normal in a week or so.
The second strike, Trump waited until people forgot he was supposed to do it to strike
