I have faith that Trump doesn't want to destroy his legacy like this 5 months into his second term. Like I said: if he does, I'll be getting a lot of shit coming my way, but I think there is enough evidence to suggest he won't.

I don't really care that Trump bombed Iran, I don't want Iranian nukes any more then the next guy and it probably had to be done. Iran won't stop until they have a nuke and with their government being fanatical religious zealots they don't care what the human cost would be.
